Inter Sport Sobieski

My wife and I were visiting Poznan for about 1 week, doing business at the nearby Adam Mickiewicz University and were looking for an economical option for housing in the area. The Inter Sport Sobieski is a unique concept in that it is attached to a gym that apparently hosts many youth/teenage sporting events. The rooms serve to house visiting international teams and thus can be a bit noisy during the early evening but quieted as the night approached. Rooms are basic with a college dorm room feel (two beds, tv, and end tables in one room), closets by the entryway and a comfortable bathroom but we appreciated the economical price and a quiet low traffic suburban setting just a 10 min walk from the university on the northern outskirts of Poznan. We had a great wifi connection and breakfast (a hearty meat and cheese local style) was also available. Staff were pleasant and helpful. We would stay here again, which is probably the best recommendation. Thanks for the friendly hotel.
