Frolic Goats Hostel

I don't totally understand all the bad reviews - I had a nice stay here. In particularly, I had an awesome experience with the staff. I arrived at 8 pm on New Year's Eve, an ATM ate my primary debit card, and I couldn't remember the PIN to my other one. I was really worried about not being able to pay for my bed and missing my train to Krakow the next morning. Luckily, my phone worked and I was able to call the hostel. I don't know the name of the woman who answered the phone, but she was absolutely lovely. She helped me identify the ATM that took my card, gave me directions to the hostel, and told me that I could pay once my money situation sorted itself out. She also immediately gave me a chocolate bar and some hot chocolate once I arrived. (She also tried to call the ATM maintenance people to have them get my card back, even though this didn't work because it was New Year's Eve.) The other staff I met weren't wonderful, but I will forever be grateful to this woman for helping me when I was having a crisis. Otherwise, it's an average hostel. Rooms are kind of small, the bathrooms are tiny, and my shower ran out of hot water.
