Pentagos Centrum

This place is in an extremely convenient location. I know this neighborhood well, having stayed in Poznan three times in the past year. This location is a ten minute walk to the Poznań Główny (main) train and bus station. You can also get a taxi to the airport easily for around 30 ZL. It is also a ten-fifteen minutes down to the old part of the city. It is extremely convenient and safe. There is a Sheraton a few blocks away with a nice coffee shop and bar/restaurant in the lobby with free Wifi, and a nice staff. You can also get a taxi there. There is also a 24 hour liquor store several blocks away. The name of it is "24 Alkohol" I think. Most younger people speak some English as well so you can ask. The location is at the back of a courtyard on the right side at 11 Bukowska. The staff who welcomed me were friendly and the price was right. The room itself was as described on the top floor (no elevator) under the roof. Free Wifi. The bathroom is directly across the hall as is the kitchen. There is also a washing machine in the bathroom. Everything looked brand new when I was there. This must have been a 4 room apartment at one time. During the day you have to share the bathroom and kitchen with a few people in an office on the same floor. It was really no problem because they are gone after work, and arrived around 9:00 am. So you have the entire upstairs to yourself at night. They are very friendly so it was no problem for me. All in all it was a great location, and very friendly staff for a decent price. I will definitely stay there again.
