Booked in with asthmatic daughter and two grandchildren for Inhalation Programme, which entailed daily trips down salt mine for 4 hours for 5 days. Not for the faint-hearted! Without speaking Polish it would be difficult to understand whole process. Rooms clean but a little basic. Meals OK but could do with a little variety. Disappointed with promised activities for children underground. Difficult to keep them occupied for 4 hours. Lengthy walk with buggy along disused mine shaft until underground rooms reached. 

Combined hotel stay and Inhalation programme 

This is average hotel - it's rated 3 stars in 2014. You can feel and see it has it's age, though it's very clean and staff is incredibly nice and helpful. My biggest issue is its price - paying around 1000PLN for room for two (VIP room, though name not necessarily justified), even though that includes food (which is really good) is way too much for Bochnia. It was also quite cold in September and heating wasn't operating at that time.

Be sure to see Bochnia's salt mine - it's hidden gem, purely amazing! Hotel is right in the centre of this quiet city.

We stayed at the Sutoris Hotel in May 2008. It is clean & comfortable. Nothing to complain about except rather modest breakfast and that there is no tea/coffee making facilities in the rooms. Our room was good sized, modern & clean. We stayed there during the weekend - be aware that there may be weddings organized in the hotel restaurant, and it maybe a bit loud at times - but it is bearable. You can expect better breakfasts after such parties, ha ha... Most of the hotel guests are there for spa & therapy, which is located in the same building as the hotel and salt mine. We did not have a chance to visit the salt mine, but we heard it is is well worth seeing. Overall, the hotel is pleasant & centrally located. However, you must remember Bochnia is a rather quiet place.
