Gościniec Ptasi Zaułek

This is a fantastic place. A double room including breakfast and Dinner was a little over 200 Zloty or 50 Euro or 55 USD. The folks who run this were fantastic. The dinners and breakfasts were wonderful and they even prepared special food for the vegetarian. We arrived later than expected and they stayed and had dinner for us. The room was clean and comfortable and it is a short walk to the beach. I can't say enough how great our hosts were. There is free parking and Internet. Quirky things: Breakfast was great but does not start until 10A. No elevator. No air conditioning. Clean Towels and great shower but...the Hotel does not supply soap nor shampoo. There is a market close by where it is available. Internet went down at night during electrical storm and no on-site staff to reset it. There is no question about whether we would stay there again. We would go a ways out of our way to do so. In spite of the few quirks. This was one of the most pleasant and enjoyable hotel stays we have experienced. The place is not fancy nor pretentious but we felt like guests rather than customers and, I don't believe I have ever felt I got more for my money. Everything worked. Room was large. Bed was comfortable Night was quiet. Staff speaks Polish, German, and more English than they admit to. Beer available of course. Charming little town on the Baltic. Overall. A great place at a great price. Fantastic place for what it is.
