I stayed at this hotel out of season, when Mielno is pretty much a ghost town. I turned up quite late, without a booking, and not having eaten. Despite the fact that the restaurant was already closed, Rafal, whose family owns and runs the hotel, was still happy to make me dinner, and was very hospitable in general . Room was great, too - woke to a splendid view of the lake. Recommended.
