We loved our stayed at the Happy Hippo, it was such good value for money and was only a short tram ride away from the centre. In fact we walked to the centre a couple of times and it did not take too long. The room we stayed in was bright and clean and there was a duvet and a blanket plus a heater so we were comfortable and warm. They could not have been more helpful and welcoming, and breakfast was waiting for us each morning. would definitely recommend this hostel as a great base to explore Lodz.
