Salwator Apartments

I stayed here for 8 days last summer and found the apartment to be excellent value for money. There are four single beds in the apartment spread over 2 bedrooms and they are all acceptably comfortable. All amenities are in good working order: fridge, freezer, cooker, shower etc. and the apartment was well cleaned and light and airy. There are central bus routes very close by, as well as several little supermarkets for stocking up on food and supplies. The back of the apartment looks out onto the river, and in fact, one of the best features of the apartment is that you can walk straight out of the back door, down to the river and simply follow the path by the river straight into town and into the thick of all of the wonderful sights, restaurants and bars. The owner was helpful but unfussy - we had all of our questions answered and pretty much arrived, got the keys and were left to our own devices for 8 days. All in all, everything was well worth the price paid, it is brilliantly situated, free from noise, well ventilated without the need for AC (even in the height of summer) and is a sensible and cost-effective choice, though if I had to give one recommendation it would be that the beds could have been a little more comfortable.
