I went there for a lunch. I ordered dumplings with the fish filling. The food was delicious and the service was ok. The staff was nice and friendly. This is the restaurant where the Polish series was filmed so worth visiting!

This is a beautiful, quiet, relaxing B&B just 7 Km from Gizycko, obtained from the renovation of an old mill. It's on a small lake that offers amazing sunsets. My family of three spent three nights there and always had dinner there for the good food and the lake view (it's locally famous for its restaurant). The whole place is decorated with very good taste using authentic old findings (not like some fake hotels "recreating the old times"). The rooms are basic, very cozy and clean, with their own bathroom and TV (in case you really, really need one!). The place is a few km from places for bike/canoe/kajak rent (the inn itself rents a boat, a kajak and bikes) and the region offers many walking/biking/canoeing trails, that we enjoyed. My daughter loved the small playground in the beautiful outdoor area of the restaurant and rowing the boat in the small lake. Being originally from Italy and having lived in the US for 22 years (traveling and having vacations all over the world), this was one of our most memorable vacations.

This is a delightful, small inn, just a few kilometers outside of Gizycko, a key location for sailing or touring the beautiful interlocking lakes in this region.  My husband and I spent 3 nights here in May 2013.  We had a very comfortable, cheerful 2nd story room overlooking the lakeside garden.  Simple pine furniture on a pine wood floor and white bedding made the room feel fresh and clean.  

The owner could not have been more welcoming, offering us chilled vodka and appetizers after we had checked in to the room.  More than that, he was generous with his time, sharing flyers and other information about local attractions and excursions we could take.  We also appreciated a number of conversations during our stay that helped us learn more about this beautiful part of Poland. 

Our second night there, he apologized that the dining room would be tied up with a large group who were there to celebrate his brother's birthday, and to see a Euro Soccer championship match between two German teams -- both of which included Polish players.  He made sure we were well taken care of with a delicious dinner in the bar area.  But when that was over, he invited us to join the party and watch the soccer match (cheering the team that had 2 Polish players).  It was great fun, and we so appreciated being included.  

We ate breakfasts and two simple but delicious dinners in the dining room, which is good enough to draw customers from around the neighborhood on a regular basis.  We enjoyed spectacular sunsets with glasses of wine (or vodka), sitting in the tranquil lakeside garden.  (One could imagine terrific summer dining here in weather warmer than occurred during our visit.)

The warm welcome, the comfortable room, the cozy inn, made this stop a highlight of our 3 weeks' tour of Poland.  In Michelin parlance, "worth a detour!"

On the recommendation of the local tourist office we drove here for lunch. The food was good and the local beer made a nice change. Next time we visit the area we would consider staying here. The price was very reasonable, lunch for 4 people was just over 100 pln.

One of our best vacations

Warm and welcoming, a highlight of our visit

Amazing scenery and lovely food!

Great lunch

The easiest way to get there is by car, I didn't see public buses to this place. The location is about 7 kilometer from the center. We traveled by car and needed a free parking we knew this is out of the center but we don't mind. The nicest thing of this hotel they also had a restaurant, but only serve Polish dish. 

Staffs are very friendly and speaks English. For checking in you will have entering to a restaurant, there's no hotel desk you must check in to a restaurant bar. Its kind of busy on our arrival, staffs are preparing orders from restaurant, but they gave us time, so we can get our room. 

No elevator, carrying luggage upstairs to the third floor is for us no problem we have small bags. The room is good enough for two with small table, chair and a closet. Our room is facing to the road side, the backside room has lake view. The beds are auwful is like beds in the hospital, rails on the foot side taller traveller will probably not fit in it. Bathroom is okay we have good shower with hot water. No wifi reception inside our room, if I need the internet need to go down the second floor for connection

Buffet breakfast included the price, you have choice with cereals, cheese, meat, fried egg, sausage and so on. I love the Polish pancake freshly bake filled with cream. For a room price of 38€ this place is a bit pricey on Polish standard hotel and the room is not worth the price and the location is so distant from city center
