FLATINFO Szafarnia & Waterlane

We visit most years and stay in the modern Waterlane building which includes underground parking and a fitness centre in the basement including a pool, sauna, steam room, jacuzzi and some limited fitness equipment. The very friendly team have relocated to other nearby locations so a phone is useful although the security desk helped us. The old office at Szafarnia 5 is closed. There are a nice bunch of restaurants and cafes outside and four convenience stores nearby. There is a bit of music noise on the weekend if you are facing the dock on the lower floors.

We've stayed with another agency (Sun and Snow) the past five years but switched to flatinfo this year (2016). Whilst appearing to be a smaller agency their pricing and apartments have been thoroughly checked at a more professional level on handover and nothing has been too much trouble. Our very last stay with Sun and Snow saw us having to change apartments three times for very good reasons and they seemed somewhat indifferent (one particular male member of staff being perfunctory to put it mildly). Try flatinfo for lower pricing and they have several perfectly English speaking staff. Very very happy with them. We've now stayed twice in their apartments and now as I write this. 

My partner and I have just returned from our 4 night stay at these apartments. We absolutely loved the apartment we stayed in (56) it was spacious, stunning and filled with everything we could possibly need. It included everything we’d need (appliances such as a dishwasher, washing machine and microwave oven) there was plates and cutlery already stocked up for us. Our only fault was that we arrived late after our flight (10pm) and we had to go to the Apartment office about 10 minutes or so away. We were charged 70PLN (£14) for arriving late. This is an understandable charge but still inconvenient nonetheless. We also was told that we’d be able to check out at 11am but the cleaning lady arrived at 9:50am and made us feel like we should leave. This is our only fault but apart from this we had the absolute best time and would definitely stay again! Would recommend this apartment to anyone who has flights that don’t land late at night! We’d also recommend to get an Uber anywhere you need to go as taxi’s will charge you MORE than 3 times the price!

This was a last minute booking when our hostel “lost” our reservation. We liked the location, several good restaurants in the area and just a short walk into town. 
We didn’t take advantage of the pool or fitness area. 
I didn’t check the china but there seemed to be enough plates etc for us. We only used the kitchen to eat breakfast.
All in all clean and comfortable. The washing machine also came in handy.

Amazing apartments!

Good location

Always the first choice option in Gdansk

Superbly helpful

We were travelling to Gdansk for a couple of days. We wanted to stay in the apartment with a view on the city. It was important for us as we wanted to enjoy the view drinking wine in the evening. We book Flatinfo apartment that was marked "city view". When I come to get the keys I asked to confirm that we would have city view and I got the confirmation.
You can only imagine how disappointed and angry I was when I got to the apartment and realized that the view is just on the opposite side on bushes and sand with not even a bit of city view (see the picture attached). I called the office with complain but they made me wait almost two hours and they do not solve the problem at all - I had to call many times because I did not recieve calls as promised. I resign with a great feeling of dissapointment. 

The experience of renting apartment from FLATINFO was one of the worst I ever had.

Misleading offer - avoid!

In „the luxurious apartment with three bedrooms” no 34, Szafarnia 5 in Gdańsk, during the entire stay (20-24 April 2018, 205,- USD/night) the internet Wi-Fi was out of service. Main, and basically the only attraction of "the apartment", was a wonderful, breath-taking panoramic view of the old town along the Motława River with the famous crane. Unfortunately, the window in the living room were so filthy that no one was able to enjoy this unique view by no means. Probably they have not been cleaned from the very moment of giving the building to use, because of the three-part window that were seriously damaged, due to the broken handle that made the window unable to be opened. On account of the defect, the administrator articulated huge surprise, because no one, apparently, had not informed him of it so far. This proves the awful cleaning Flatinfo service competences and the total lack of interest in reliable performance of duties. Till the end of our stay in "the apartment" this serious fault has not been fixed and the window remained black from the dust muck. Pool table was out of use with damaged pockets through which the pool balls dropped out freely, just on the floor. Tableware was incomplete, it ought to be for six people, was in fact for three or less (for example, 1 glass of champagne, three teaspoons, no kitchen knives, etc.). The electric kettle happened to be with torn, damaged filter. There were oven, range hood, pans dull of dirty. Helios mechanical fans have never been cleaned (and should be cleaned once every 6 months). Windows curtains, door sliding, mirror wardrobe in the Hall – all filthy. Dirty shower enclosure with clogged water drain, the mould on the watertight borders. Our complains were reported four times as by phone to Flatinfo person in charge, but with no result. Someone was sent to us, but was unprepared to do anything. Considering all the above, the apartment was not efficiently prepared by the company and, as a result, it was not ready for any rental, what can be viewed as the act of untrustworthiness, lack of know-how and, above all, the lack of respect for the truthfulness of client. I demanded a refund half of the sum, which was pulled from my account before we’ve got the keys. They proposed to me as the consolation fee the sum of 350,-pln (100,- USD) that seemed to me the refund ridiculous in the entire context and the total rent charge of 800,- USD. Shock!, keep us far away from Flatinfo offers!
