The owner was very welcoming and helfpul in providing advice on what to see and where to go first. He also recommended nearby restaurants. The location is great - just a short stroll to the river where you can catch a ferry to Westerplatte or walk to the long market street. If you have rolling suitcases I suggest you take a taxi from the train station as the route from the station to the hotel is mostly cobbles. The room is very clean and comfortable. We stayed on the first floor in late summer and we did experience some noise from people walking on the street late at night - but this is common in all city centers, especially when you sleep with the window open. The breakfast was exceptionally generous and delicious, I would definitely return!
