37 reviewsStaff: All staff were extremely helpful and courteous. On arrival a receptionist did their best to find a more suitable room for my elderly mother at no extra cost. They also helped with transfer from Wroclaw airport for a late night arrival. Staff spoke good English. Room: The room was of a good size, with a nice bathroom. Kettle/tea/mineral water and hair dryer/toiletries were provided. No air conditioning. Proximity of a busy road could be a source of noise at times. Breakfast: Breakfast was a buffet of a traditional Polish style, with very good selection of cereals, cold meats/cheeses/cakes, as well as hot scrambled eggs/mini sausages. Toaster and excellent coffee were available. Breakfast could be taken either on a small mezzanine or outside in the garden. The Restaurant. The restaurant was in a wine cellar and had a wonderful, mostly traditional Polish menu with a modern feel. The food was first class in a nice setting. The building. The hotel was previously a residence of a Dierig family, the owners of a local textile company, and has been carefully restored, with addition of a modern spa, gym and swimming pool. Beautiful art deco interiors, old photographs and furniture made for a great setting. Listed building status does not allow for lift installation and disabled guests may find stairs a problem. There was a small garden to walk through/sit out as well as a small children’s playground
