Spędziliśmy tu jedne z najlepszych wakacji. To co pierwsze rzuca się w oczy, to niesamowicie życzliwa obsługa. Zaczyna się od recepcji, są świetni. Jeśli przyjedziesz w ciągu dnia, to masz szansę zostać powitanym przez Meltem, ona zawsze dba o to, żeby goście czuli się bardzo dobrze. Uśmiechnięta życzliwa obsługa śniadań i pokojówek. Wszyscy lubią swoją pracę i starają się żebyś czuł się przez cały czas dobrze. Hotel to dobre cztery gwiazdki. Pokoje takie akurat dla dwóch osób. Nigdy nie masz wrażenia, że jest za dużo ludzi, choć jest komplet. Klimatyzacja sprawna, balkony przestronne. Lodówka, sejf, szafki, tv, zasłony dające pełne zaciemnienie. Można się wyspać w największy upał. Hotel docenią jednak specjalne osoby. Nie jest nad samym morzem, choć do plaży masz minutę. Hotel nie ma swoich leżaków na plaży, ale za to są tam najtańsze leżaki na Rodos - 5 EUR za dzień. W szczycie sezonu nigdy nie zabrakło wolnych leżaków. Jest bar na plaży, z obsługą kelnerską do leżaków. Prawie nie ma piasku, głównie kamienie otoczaki i prawie zawsze są fale. Basen hotelowy nie jest duży i ma pewnie z 10 leżaków. To nie jest resort all inclusive. To jest hotel dla tych, którzy lubią plażę ale też greckie miasto. Trochę bałaganu na ulicy, jakiś opuszczony w okolicy budynek, ulice na których ciągle jest ruch. My to uwielbialiśmy, leżysz w basenie, na leżaku, siedzisz na fotelu, w barze hotelowym, a dookoła żyje miasto – sklepy, przechodnie, samochody, ludzie pracują. Hotel się nie odcina od miasta on się z nim przenika. Wychodzisz z plaży, z hotelu i masz pod ręką sklepy i dziesiątki restauracji. W 5 minut dojdziesz na deptak z knajpami i są nawet takie bez przerwy na sjestę. Codziennie możesz jeść w innej knajpie. W 15 minut dojdziesz do zamku, do serca starówki, do kolejnych knajp i sklepów, do portu. A potem wracasz do swojej spokojnej dzielnicy, gdzie zawsze wieje wiatr przynoszący ulgę. Tu na plaży wytrzymasz spokojnie w 40 stopniach, bo wiatr to cały czas łagodzi. Gdy byliśmy po drugiej stronie wyspy, to tam powietrze parzyło nawet w cieniu. Dzięki temu wszystkiemu prawie nie ma rodzin z małymi dziećmi, a to też bywa przecież plus. To jest taki hotel wybierany głównie przez Francuzów, Holendrów, Brytyjczyków. Praktycznie nie było Polaków i nawet to był plus, bo nie rozumiało się jak ktoś marudził, albo się kłócił. Mercure Rhodes Alexia to był świetny wybór, aż chce się wracać. Everyone enjoys their job and tries to make you feel good all the time. The hotel is a good four stars. These rooms are perfect for two people. You never feel like there are too many people, even though it's full. Air conditioning works, spacious balconies. Fridge, safe, cabinets, TV, curtains providing complete blackout. You can sleep well in the hottest weather. However, special people will appreciate the hotel. It is not right by the sea, although you are a minute away from the beach. The hotel does not have its own sun loungers on the beach, but there are the cheapest sun loungers in Rhodes - EUR 5 per day. During the peak season there was never a shortage of free sun loungers. There is a beach bar, with waiter service to sun loungers. There is almost no sand, mostly pebbles, and there are almost always waves. The hotel pool is not large and has probably 10 sun loungers. This is not an all-inclusive resort. This is a hotel for those who like the beach but also the Greek city. A bit of chaos on the street, some abandoned building in the area, streets with constant traffic. We loved it, you lie in the pool, on a deckchair, sit in an armchair, in a hotel bar, and the city is alive all around you - shops, passers-by, cars, people working. The hotel does not separate itself from the city, it merges with it. You leave the beach, the hotel and there are shops and dozens of restaurants at your fingertips. In 5 minutes you will reach the promenade with pubs, and there are even some without a siesta break. You can eat at a different restaurant every day. In 15 minutes you will reach the castle, the heart of the old town, other pubs and shops, and the port. And then you go back to your quiet neighborhood, where the wind always blows to bring you relief. Here on the beach you can easily survive in 40 degrees, because the wind constantly moderates it. When we were on the other side of the island, the air there was hot even in the shade. Thanks to all this, there are almost no families with small children, and this is also a plus. This is the hotel chosen mainly by the French, Dutch and British. There were practically no Poles and even that was a plus, because you couldn't understand anyone complaining or arguing. Mercure Rhodes Alexia was a great choice, I want to come back.
