I had a group holiday with 9 other friends to the philippines and planned to stay here at the start and end of trip. 

At the start of the trip my friend booked online. Confirmations on accom and transfer were made the week leading arrival. Communiation was good and got back to us quickly. Unfortunately, when we arrived in manila, my friend recieved an emailed stating the room was unavailable and under construction. This email was obviously sent to us when we were in flight - LAST MINUTE. So, there was 8 of us in manila with no accommodation at 11pm at night.. 

We were able to brush this off and find another place that night for all of us, luckily... but we had already booked in advance for our last night in manila at the end of our holiday. After our first experience, i got in contact with them and explained our first booking was cancelled and ensured they deffinitely had our rooms and transfer ready for our last night in manila. All confirmations were made in email with good timing. 

1 hour before catching our flight for our last night in manila, i received an email stating they could not pick us up because the vehicle was under "coding". I asked if they could compensate and organise another vehicle or taxi as we had no cellular data and they denied it. They also said they would not cover our taxi costs. So we arrived in manila with 9ppl no pick up from airport to hotel. 

We were very close to just booking another place but just decided to stay there as we had already booked. When we arrived, some of our group were abit creeped out about the state of the building - it did look like it was just an abandoned place... so just depends on what you can tolerate. It was abit confusing to find reception and had to go to the 17th floor. No signage is errected to tell you this, we had to ask. 

When we got to reception, it seemed like they were going to squeeze all of us in 2 rooms on 4 beds when we actually booked 1 room with 8 beds. They need to change their booking system to ensure customers no what they are booking. I assumed they had no intention of telling me this until we go there and had no option but we just decided to leave. I was also abit worried that they were cancel our transfer for the next day since our flight home departed 6
6am. 

Other points:
- our driver advised us if we stayed, not to walk the street to get food that night as it can be a dangerous area
- driver said that he has dropped alot of travellers there who had left once arrived because of the state of the building 
- rooms looked clean but building seemed abit dodgy
