Prices are great for some local home cooked simple filipino foods. Like everywhere in Alona Beach you will wait for your meal so relax enjoy a beer and conversation with your friend or loved one. I didn't stay at the hotel so no review for that but food was very good at reasonable prices.

Good local filipino foods

For a really cheap rate, we expected it would be an average stay. What we didn't anticipate was the below-average experience. The century-old AC was very noisy, we could barely sleep; There were only two outlets and the other one took forever to charge my phone; The WiFi doesn't reach our room; The bathroom lights were constantly blinking; The water stinks. You can most likely find something better just a short walk from the beach. The only great thing about this place was it was directly in front of the beach.

What You Pay Is What You Get, Almost

Foul and disgusting. We stayed one night in horror. We only had water when we checked in. We go out for dinner and the water was turned off. We didn't have water all night. There are rats the size of a cat. We were supposed to stay two nights. We were refunded the second night. Also, its cash only. No credit cards. As the manager was trying to debate our experience, the water magically was turned back on as we are demanding our money back. Also, when you book the room, you won't get a receipt.

Rat Park

We were greeted by the most miserable host ever, who was not happy at all to see us. The room was basic, not mossy or ant proof at all, the bathroom was atrocious, worst hotel we have found in entire Philippines stay. Me and my travel companion immediately found the next closest hotel, which cost us more than we can afford but at that point we were willing to do anything to escape the nightmarish vibes from Aquatica. 

The hotel sits right outside of the crowd of vendors and sellers, you will be bothered every time you go in and out of the 'hotel'. When we told the lady at the front desk we were leaving (only 2 hours after checking in), she smirked and said nothing. She was totally unbothered.

WORST HOTEL I'VE SEEN IN MY LIFE

If you like ants, flies and mosquitos as well as filthy rooms, rude staff and no wifi  then this is the place for you . The price may be enticing but don't put yourself through hell to save some pesos,  better spend a little more and stay somewhere cleaner, safer and where you are made too feel welcome

- Food: cheap yes, but well below the surrounding competition.
- Service: average
- Atmosphere: unmaintained area with cats and a swarm of never-ending flies attacking the sticky placemats

My Verdict:
Needs a Gordon Ramsay episode before I would go back...!

Would I eat here again?  No thanks.

Restaurant Review - Needs attention

When we just finish snorkeling and head to this hotel check in. When i step in to say: Dear, I would like to check in. The staff: Sorry Maam, we are just fully book( with a very sarcastic face and not willing drop her phone away to serve us). I can understand  price is cheap and quality but the staff don't even smile with you and wanted you go away,The staff are so rude she don't even check on her desk with appointment book or my name. If you guys really going to book this hotel please have a deep breathe please, Because the bathroom area is not clean is like 5 minutes ago someone pee on it never flush away , no hot water, no hair dryer, no kettle but only one good thing is outside is beach.

Hopeless

I'm a Filipino and I'm sooo disappointed with the place... let alone the cleanliness and the customer service. Rooms were dirty, service sucks i.e even a cup of hot water is not free (php 5). The staffs were the most unfriendly of all... This place is a shame and overpriced too!
