Casa Keja

I have to admit that I was a little disappointed at first that our driver stopped short of the Bellevue Resort and in front of this quaint inn. I was surprised that this little gem of a place is very clean and comfortable AND super affordable. There is hot/cold shower in a rather large bathroom, which is so clean I didn't even have to wear slippers in the shower. They provided large, clean bath towels but no toiletries (you'd have to buy your own from the reception desk or the small convenient store next door). We stayed in the large family room with 3 clean and very comfortable beds. The walls are beautifully covered with traditional bamboo used in "bahay kubo". Bamboo is actually very present all over the property. The A/C wall unit in the room was very cold, which was a nice break from being out in the heat all day. I love that this place was less than a 3 minute walk from the beach (via Bellevue just behind the inn). The property itself is very beautiful with flowering plants and trees all over. Breakfast was offered for a small fee and a variety of items were available on their menu (the usual "silog" dishes). Meals are served in a common area with a view of the beautiful garden. There are so many restaurants and eateries nearby, some just a walking distance. Staff is really friendly & very accommodating and even offered tour and travel info and can book you right on the spot! Thank you Ms. Camley and the rest of the staff for a wonderful stay and we look forward to staying at Casa Keja again real soon!
