Christina is the manager and she is hands on. The resort was beautiful. Only feet from the ocean. I loved our cozy bungalow and it was very clean. The staff was very friendly and helpful with answering questions. This is a wonderful town to chill in. The water is very clean and swim able. Great to rent a kayak and go to starfish island. The breakfast food at the restaurant was delicious and healthy. A very relaxing place. We will be back next year. Thanks for a good vibe.

It doesn't get much nicer than being directly on the beach drinking your Chai Latte while waiting for your fresh avocado Panini. It does take a bit of time for food to come out so plan accordingly.  The food here is good and has the illusion of healthy, so anyone from California will love it.  But seriously the food is brilliant if you have the time to chill out and enjoy the island life.

We stayed at Port Barton foe 3 nights and it was amazing. The staff were so accommodating especially when I requested to be transferred to a different cottage (because I’d like the triangular ones) without fuss. We just had a minor issue upon checking out because there was a meal charged to us that isn’t ours. It was eventually resolved and overall the stay was great! I’d definitely come back again.

We had amazing time in Port Barton. Deep Moon is a perfect place for a beer at sunset. Breakfast are delicious and the restaurant is great for chilling. We loved it our room with the bed upstairs so we could have more comfort the 3 of us. 5 minutes walking distance from the van station and the restaurants. Quiet and calm for sleeping in the cottages!

We stumbled into this place at the far end of the beach when they had these relaxing pillows lying out on the beach, played lounge music and served nice but not cheap food.
Its a touristplace, yes, but the loclas run it well.
We decided not only to eat and drink here but to move into one of their cottages, just off the beach, but with a beach view, aircon, fan and clean bathroom.
Great valus, though there are scheaper options.

You come here by boat to spend a good day by the beach. We tried to come by a motorbike as well but it was a nightmare, really. Do not do it! I still wonder how we managed to do it without having crashed. The road is impossible. Stick to the boat transfer! We tried some drinks and food but I was not impressed.
The sea is clear but one day there was jellyfish and I got scared.
You pay 50 pesos entrance fee for the beach.

We didn’t book anywhere just had a wander all down the beach and we felt this place had it all. We had a balcony looking out on the beach was stunning shame the weather was the greatest but that can’t be helped, they were very accommodating. The only down fall is the electric turning off from 3 till about 8 so no air con and was sweating couldn’t sleep plus woke up to dogs fighting on our balcony but love dogs just don’t want 5 outside the door this isn’t there fault. Great place well worth a stay 

Reception was excellent and staff (Esther and Nan) are lovely.The beach house was very very basic and quite dark inside...we had a couple of minor issues with light bulbs missing and fan not working.These were very quickly fixed by the Beach Moon resort staff... Electricity goes off at midnight until 7.30 next morning... You quickly get used to this... It was lovely to fall asleep to the sound of the sea.Lots of lovely beach cafes and restaurants as you walk down the beach. Also NAN (the handy man) took us out on the best boat trip ever... It was amazing..him and his crew (Mike) made us a beautiful meal of tuna fish, salad and rice. They were great guides...We saw giant turtles when we were out snorkelling in the sea.  Also he took us to White beach ...which to be honest the Beach at Port Barton where Deep Moon Resort was was just as nice,so probably not worth the effort... You will enjoy your time here! I visited this place several times and while it’s a really great place to hang out and the food and juices are quite good, I never once saw the staff wash their hands. I was there for hours on end and saw the female staff picking pimples, picking their nose, picking their panties, going to the bathroom and not washing their hands, it was so gross. I know Phillipines has low standards when it comes to hygene but in the middle of a coronavirus epidemic they really should try harder to be sanitary. Floors and tables were sometimes dirty too. Such a shame as it’s a great spot to hang out on the beach :( sadly it’s the only place that does cold pressed juice so I kept going back and ignoring the hygene issues until I just couldn’t. No management anywhere in sight...most of the girls working there were also not very friendly and polite. It’s like they’re all just hanging out at their house.

So much wasted potential :(

We arrived in the beautiful white beach by kayak and we are not guests of the resort but as many other went to take something at the restaurant or bar of it. I went to ask for a fruit shake or smoothie with real fresh fruit only as in front of the bar have a big basket with lot of beautiful fruits and I have been clear on this. After pay they invite me to seat but I stayed close by. I saw the guy (hiding with his body) putting only a powder and mixing it with water, then I asked him to make me a real fruit shake no with powder or chemicals (I asked him 3 times what was the powder he put but he faked no to understand...). Then I asked again for a real fresh fruit...he took a tiny small piece of mango already chopped and hiding what he was doing again he just added ice (not purified probably) and water..indeed it was just water with yellow colour and not mango fruit shake. At the end I was very annoyed and demanded money back which he gave me saying some bad word in Tagalog...Very bad experience and attitud of that guy...Apart this, the beach is beautiful but be careful on what you take also in the restaurant : I saw other people taking pasta that was actually pasta warmed with ketchup sauce....
