138 reviewsI booked this for 8 of us (5 filipinos, 3 english - all family) then got a bit worried as some of the reviews were not that positive. However, after a short taxi drive from the airport (provided by the hotel) we arrived & what a pleasant surprise it was! Very quiet hotel, just local inspect sounds & the occasional dog. We arrived early, so left our luggage with the reception (very friendly and helpful people) and went for a walk to Pristine Beach which was close by - the beach was anything BUT pristine - empty bottles/plastic lying everywhere. Not a good start. Luckily all of the other beaches in Palawan were gorgeous! Puerto Princesa is quite spread out, so tricycles were pretty much a necessary evil to get anywhere, but never mind - that's the way it is. The hotel? Rooms very comfortable, very quiet, aircon great and rooms were very clean. Swimming pool was cool/cold, but who cares? After hectic days out, it was nice just to chill out in peace. The staff were very professional, helpful, polite and friendly - thank you. You were great. We didn't stay very long (only 2 nights) but we only really used the hotel to sleep in (we had 3 rooms) and I would defintely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Palawan/Puerto Princesa. Thank you - you made a short stay very pleasant and if we ever come to Palawan again, we will pop in & say hello !
