This is not a HOTEL! DON'T BOOK HERE IF YOU WANT a peaceful stay with your family.  This is technically a short time motel for lovers.  prostitutes are all over the place.  The small lady cleaner who claims to be the owners girlfriend will curse you once you complain.  She even told me that the owner will not believe me and that he will only believe in what shes going to tell him.  They do not issue official receipt! So disgusting! The place is nice though but if you dont want to be harassed then avoid checkin in here! Categorize your property well. dont claim to be a hotel when you are actually allwoing prostitution in the property! Oh and by the way change your linens! Observe proper healthcheck protocol! If you dont want to get infected with COVID do not check in here!

Categorize it as Love Hotel

First time in Philippines I come stay here. Receptionist very helpful, and went above and beyond for myself and several other customers during my stay.
They allowed guests to sometimes use the company phone, like if they need to book a Grab.
They even offered me cups of coffee and recommended nice places to eat.
They smiled a lot, and helped when I had questions about area.
My room was very clean and tidy.
Reception area and lounge look very pretty.
Guard was very friendly as well.
Only issue was a bad reception on TV, and the WiFi didn’t work great in my room. 
But they make you feel at home there.
Word of advice to other guests: if you have questions, make sure you ask before 8pm, because receptionist goes home at that time, and then you will have to wait until the next morning.
Oh, and also for my fellow westerners, just remember you can’t flush toilet paper here, must put it on the trash bin!
It is one of the cheapest I can find for cost.
Overall, good value for money, and nearby a lot of good places for tourists.

Nice cozy stay

The window was broken and could not be shut so hot air and smell as well as mosquitos constantly came in through it. Bedsheets were dirty (we discovered this as we were going to bed and had no chance to replace as the reception was empty) Asked them to change and clean the next day however they did not clean but left towels on floor and did not fill up toiletpaper (was barely any there to start with). Tv was broke too and they didnt seem too stressed about that either. Also found a used 1 use shampoo satchet in shower when we arrived. The “ac” was soo loud and because if the heat and extreme smell oozing  in at night we had to have it on. Check iut was at 12 and we were about to leave the room when the cleaninglady knocjed on the door looking sour at exactly 12.03!! They really need to have a conversation with her - she really made the whole experience worse withthe looks she gave us! Room was really outdated and dirty. We have been travelling for 9 months now medium to low budget and this is the bottom 5 hotels we have been to. Only good thing was a friendly receptionist and the securityguard on the first floor

STAY AWAY!

When you take into account the price paid, the room and service wasnt too bad and more than comfortable enough for a one night stop off to service the airport.
The rooms were big with plenty of storage and had good enough bathrooms. There were clean and had a big rain shower. 
The security staff and reception staff were nice enough and friendly. Spoke good English. We had the same experience of having the no smoking rule stressed to us even though we dont smoke. We werent offended by this though and also they insisted on putting the wifi code directly into my phone. A bit strange but then I wasnt paying for 5 star so had no complaints. The reception area was very comfortable and nicely decorated albeit no air con out there. Aircon in the rooms were the only slight disappointment for me. It worked but not very well and was pretty noisey. Other than that I'm not sure what anyone else would expect.

Value for money

I booked/paid online but when I arrived at the hotel, the guard called the Manager (I think the name is Lhen), who happened to be the receptionist, said no booking was sent to them. She did not even go downstairs to check.

So I showed the guard my booking and called again the Manager. Coincidentally, the Manager was about to go home (probably 8PM) and when I was showing her my booking, she just told me to walk to the next branch (2 blocks away) to see if I was booked there. She did not even bother checking my booking details. She was in a hurry.

I walked to the next branch and they claimed that their branch name is Osmeña and not Casino St which was indicated on my booking. The security guards called their hotline to ask and they said I was really booked in Casino St. So I went back. I was tired after training and then this?

The Manager left already so I spoke to the condo admin. They were very helpful and called the condo owner though their decision was to not accomodate me which was understandable as there was no booking sent by RedDoorz. They suggested that I just call Travelbook.

Travelbook told me my booking was confirmed and helped me contact RedDoorz. Travelbook had been really helpful and willing to look for another hotel for me. Then a man from RD called me and apologized that they failed to send my booking details. The problem was, the condo was already fully-booked except for the executive suite who happened to be available only at that night. I booked for 2 nights and told them I will have a hard time if they transfer me the next day as I have training again. To cut the story short, they still gave me the executive room for 2 nights after probably 3 hours of waiting and calling them back several times.

I met again the Manager the next day and she was not really nice to speak with. Maybe because I don't look like someone who can afford a hotel room.

She asked for a valid ID and I showed her my company ID. She said she needs a valid ID so I told her my company ID was all I have, though I had my passport but wouldn't tell her. Revenge time it is! Idk how long she has been working but a company ID is one of the valid IDs in our country and she doesn't know that? She also said she doesn't know Travelbook, only Agoda and Expedia, so maybe she needs to know the list of travel agencies who promote and sell their business. She did not even give me the WIFI password but entered it herself on my phone. As if I have plans of ruining their network. What would I get if I did? She even repeated several times that I'll pay higher fine if I smoke within the hotel even after telling her that I don't smoke. I was really annoyed but at the same time, her arrogance just shows how ignorant she is and it was a bit funny too. Hahaha!

Some of the staff told me they often encounter this situation in RedDoorz @ Casino St. Seems like they always over-book. I will never ever go back nor book any RedDoorz or even recommend it to anyone.

RedDoorz Hotel in Bryan Condo

The staff and the supervisor clearly did not have proper training and are impolite. Our room wasn’t cleaned after our first night of stay, so we asked the staff about it. She told us that we had to put the “make-up our room” sign by the doorknob so they’d know if we wanted our room cleaned. i told her that the supervisor/receptionist did not inform us about this when we checked-in. But instead of making it uo to us, she had to argue and made it sound like it’s our fault and we shoulve known. We also asked for the wifi password, but told us that only the supervisor knows the password. Should be given to us upon check-in.  Also asked for their room rates for future references but the staff had no idea about it. Lastly, my brother left his shoes outside the room since it was starting to smell. The supervisor impolitely and furiously knocked on our door and  told us that we should keep the shoes inside since they have other guests too. We understood her reasoning but she shouldve informed us nicely. We are guests too. Better look for other hotels that would make your stay stress-free.

Look for another place to stay

Lyn, the frontdesk manager could be more pleasant and accommodating. While she went on to reiterate the no-smoking policy, I said no worries, as I am a non-smoker. She insisted, with a tone, that she needs to emphasize it even that means she may irritate me. I shrugged it off, even joked that they must have had a lot of violators, to which she agreed and went on to rant about them a bit. Half an hour after I settled into my room, I noticed that the AC isn't working as designed - keeps going back to 28° no matter what temp I set it to. So I went out to talk to Lyn, who was quick to dismiss it with an equally dismissive tone, saying it's because it's hot outside and I just got in so I need to wait for the room to cool down. I figured there was no point arguing so I went back to my room but not without letting her know how I found her tone uncalled for. I asked who I need to talk to for feedback and she said she was the manager and I that I could just write my review. So there.

Lyn the frontdesk manager has an attitude!

We were not getting the room I booked! The owner overbooked the place! I had it booked for 3 nights but the place doesn’t have any amenities at all ! We have to answer our phone calls and walk downstairs to do it since our room phone isn’t in service We have to go buy our own paper plates to use in the unit! No kitchen supplies at all The shower was flooded! I paid for 3 nights but can’t get any refund or credit for the remaining 2 nights! Did not sleep well due to a stressful check in to start with that day 2/8/18 It was a nightmarish day for me and my wife we checked out early and find another place to stay which was a hassle! Very bad experience! Never will I trust those ads on your websites! Al

This place is a dump!

This place is very nice,.well decorated, clean, spacious, and the staff was very friendly.  I would stay here again, next time I'm in Manila.  They also serve breakfast with coffee.  I was very impressed with this place.  Do yourself a favor as well.

Nice condo close to mall of Asia.

This hotel is located in a bad part of Makati.  You would need to walk few min to the larger cross-street to hail a cab.  The rooms are nice though and there is wifi.  But when you walk in the lobby (which is a small door), you wouldn't think this is a hotel.  More like a an entrance to an old apartment building.  The hotel is actually located on 5th floor.  There is a common area and then there are about 7 or 8 rooms.  

There is no front desk service after certain time (9 pm or so).  I was told there no guest would be allowed after 10 pm.  Since my room allows for 2 adults, I dunno why they have this strict rule when this place is not conveniently located to begin with.  I asked to make sure this was true, and was told by reception that no guest after 10 pm.  

If you are a single guy then this rule is terrible.  I like to party in Manila and almost every hotel in Manila allows you to bring a guest no matter what time it is.  When I came back around 9 pm to verify if I can bring a guest, the rude security guard to me  no guest after 10 pm, no exceptions.  So I did not bother to call my friend to come over.  So if you like massages, they can not come to this "hotel" either.  Its not really an hotel as it doesn't really have many amenities.  Its not one of those newer condotels either.  Just an old apartment building that they renovated the 5th floor into few nice rooms.  So I checked out, I rather eat the fee than subject to their stupid rules.  Then I called Agoda to complain.  Agoda contacted them and security guard lies and claims he never told me that and that I did not have a guest.  Well, if I'm told already by reception and again by security guard, why would I bring a guest over and embarrass the guest? And its difficult place to find and the guest have to go back home.  

So if you are single guy and like the night life or like in hotel massages, this is definitely not the place for you.

Nice comfortable room for the price, but very strict rules and poor service (lying security guard)
