The hotel is not that new anymore but one can still have a good night's rest. The amenities are pretty basic- ref, small screen flat tv, acu, hot and cold water. Wifi is only working in the restaurant area. The staff were very accommodating. Parking is adequate and food in the restaurant are okay.

This is a travelers hotel in the heart of Legaspi, so there are limitations.  If you want a pool, massage services, and five star room service, go somewhere else.  If you want a great little hotel for 2200 to 2500 pesos a night (about $40.00 to $50.00 USD), this is a bargain.

Bad:  Let's get some things out of the way first.  Legaspi is located in the tropics near the ocean and the Mayon volcano.  Everything smells like damp and sulfur.  This hotel is no exception.  This is also a small hotel, so not a lot of amenities are available.  The security also appears to be a problem, with minor locks on the thin doors and no safe in the room.  The bath towels were small and the shower had limited hot water.  The room had some dust and one of the spare pillows had a large stain on it.  Also, there were limited power outlets in it and the TV was a an older CRT set.  Okay, with that out of the way . . .

Good:  Wow, so much good.  The first is the SERVICE.  I run a CPAP requiring two power sources.  When we asked for a power source, the staff immediately had one available.  Rooms were cleaned with detail despite the local conditions.  Although the  thin doors had single locks, the area was secure with a guard and locked gate after 10 PM.  Yes, there was CRT television, but all had cable. The beds were comfortable and clean.  The hotel is located on a central street near a wet market and easy access to jeepneys for many locations around the Legaspi area.  The hotel also offered a free breakfast.  The menu is limited, but it is authentic Bicol food. We bought some a pineapple and star apples at the local market.  Any other hotel would have frowned upon this.  With La Roca, no problem!  We brought it to breakfast and they prepared it for us.  The staff had local laundry available ($3.00 USD for three kilos of laundry).  

Other items of note:  The staff does speak limited English.  We did leave a tip of 50 pesos ($1.00 USD) for the three staff members.  They were quite happy.

A great bargain if you are in the Legaspi area, especially if you do not need the five star treatment.

For couples or families who want a little privacy, peace and quiet, this is the perfect lodgings. It's a bit out of the way, hence also away from the noise and pollution of the main city. Rooms are new and well-furnished, clean and comfortable. Function Halls are also large enough for events, and wifi connection is great.

A gem of a traveler's hotel

COzy and Private

Small hotel, good venue for wedding receptions, seminars, etc

This is the favorite venue for one of the DENR Burea of Environmental Management , Pollution Control 40 hour training. 

So stayed here 3 nights.
The bed mattress is soft and comfty to sleep on. Pillows are soft and don't smell.
Room is dated. Bathroom is dated with characteriatic sulfur smell of water because of being near Mayon Volcano.  The road noise is a constant 50-55 decibels  because the hotels is located on one of the cities avenues. ( decibel meter is an app from appstore ).  The dinning area has manh mosquitos.  Killed 2 mosquitos in my room and had a cockroach fly on my  bed the second night.

Rate is P2,200 they gave 10% discount .  All yoo need to do is ask.  Food is a 5.5 .  So so but not bad.  
There's hot water.

Staff are friendly and nice they seem to be old time employees of the establishment.

They let me print documents for free.

AC is good though the unit directly points to my face.

Net is slow in the am.  Ok in the Pm.  But you have to be close to the front desk.

Stayed here because of a Training Seminar

Just an average hotel, nothing fancy about. Quiet old and they need to upgrade. It's just a tricycle away from major establishment. good thing is that they are along the hi-way, near the airport. 

Staffs are nice. Poor wifi connection in the room but good in the restaurant side.
