Got a short break from work and headed to Iloilo City for the break.
My husband and I stayed in Madison Hotel as referred by our friend. it was a good experience, though room is very basic. Very accessible to all Iloilo destinations. Affordable and the staff are accommodating. They even gave us a pitcher of water and served our brought in Guimaras mangoes nicely.

Madison Hotel Experience

the towels were not in place during my stay and the tv and aircon remote controls were not functioning well. service with a smile inspires which i didnt experience much from the hotel staff.

There is a really foul smell coming fron the bathroom. The tv remote  is for another room.

What I like about the hotel:The room is spacious, so is the t&b.They gave us yummy ensaymada as check out gift.Hot and cold shower.What needs improvement are:No complimentary toothbrush. It would be helpful if the hotel can provide this, for instances when travellers forgot to bring one, just like in my daughter's case. We checked in around 9pm and still had to go out of the hotel and find a convenience store to buy a toothbrush.No complimentary bottled water. There is no foot rug. Imagine where to wipe your feet after taking a shower. Also, the shower curtain smells awful. Looks like it has not been washed for a long time.Staff: It would be better if the staff has a ready smile to greet tired and weary guests and be warmer in receiving guests not that as if receiving guests is automated and routinary only.

I stayed in Madison Hotel for 2 nights and for 2 rooms for my family. Its accessible to SM Delgado, Quix Mart convenience store, Mercury Drug and a number of restaurants to choose from. On our way there, we just took a van from the airport and its about 20 mins i think to reach Hotel Madison Delgado. By the way, Hotel Madison has two locations so just specify with the driver where you will be headed to. Upon arrival, we planned to just leave our baggage for storage and proceed with our tour since its too early for check in. But after a quick process check in about 10 minutes, the receptionist told us that we can already proceed with our rooms with no early check in fee. I was delighted and of course thankful that we can at least rest for a while from the airport. I can say no more with the rooms, it exceeded my expectations, the ambiance is very nice and relaxing with bottled water for free and toiletries of course. What I love were their beds. All of us had a very relaxing sleep throughout our stay even if its for a few hours only since we have to finished a lot of tours. The hotel staff also helped us to look for a taxi that will take us to the airport just a few hours before our flight at 4 am. They were always helpful and very polite. Overall, I recommend this hotel. 
If you will be going to Guimaras, this hotel is accessible to Ortiz Wharf by tricycle or jeep.

A few hours sleep in their bed is worth it plus location accessibility

Very accessible to the down town areas, budget friendly hotel. I took advantage of their 50% room promo which is super best deals to a property with great location. The staffs are helpful and accommodating, rooms are ok clean equipped with clean shower at toilet . Recommended  for business traveler or those who are in a budget.

VALUE FOR MONEY

Its a small downtown hotel with very limited parking. 
Rooms are ok but no ref/bar and no compli water. Uou can ask for a pitcher of water though (it arrives half full and only slightly cold, no ice. 
If the soao were any thinner, it would be a flake!
But its cheap so it feels just about right. 


Less than basic

We were 3 to the room but sometimes we only got 2 bath towels, The walls are full of cracks in the room. Big damage to the wall in the hall. Sometimes hard to sleep because some people are very noisy in the hall. people at the desk were very helpful.

The Staffs are hospitable, they are assisting us more than we expect. The environment are good to have a vacation, even their food, they makes my tummy full as expected. They already reach my expectation and standard. Love it ❤
