We decided to stay here in this hotel last Dec 2 for overnight. I called the number listed on their website which the staff told me that it is the owner's contact number. She was very prompt to handle our reservation and was responding upto the time we were on our way on the hotel. However, an unfortunate event happened the eve of our stay and the whole area lost electricity. I tried contacting the same number but it is cancelling my call and I even tried to text her about the situation but she was not responding until I get back here in Manila. So if you can read this, try to be prompt not only when a guest is about to book, but also be prompt and entertain them especially if they are staying in your hotel!!

Nothing I can say for the staff, they're accomodating and very pleasant.

Owner should go on seminars.

Modern building great location helpful staff good aircon let down by the plumbing.  Toilet system had no water. Manager had obviously had this problem before and fixed it promptly but it failed again in a few hours. There was no point in getting another fix like that so used a bucket to flush the toilet. 
Hot water would work briefly only so cold showers. Other than that a pleasant stay.

Good location

La Vista Hotel & Beach Resort is a pretty ideal place for budgeted travelers looking for nice rooms and good service. Getting to it requires entering a small alley, so you have to pay attention to signs. It's gated and has a security guard, and there are limited rooms. Parking might be a bit of a concern during peak seasons.

The family room we stayed in, which is good for 4 (single and bunk beds), was pretty small but sufficient. I have some reservations about the door, though. It gets stuck and you have to force it open and close, which is actually kind of an advantage because the door jamb where the knob is is broken (although there's a slide-on lock).

You can cook your own food but they also have a restaurant where you can either order off the menu or ask them to cook whatever you buy from the market. Dining options are either in the air conditioned area or the alfresco one with the karaoke machine.

It's particularly perfect for vacationers who like to spend their summer just swimming and tanning since they offer very little in the way of activities. There are some boaters going around offering snorkeling trips though.

Nice, budget-friendly accommodation

I stayed in this hotel for 3 nights. They dare charge me 88 euro for that. I am not
joking that you are really gambling with your life when you take a shower. Because
they put 220 volts on the shower head with a circuit breaker on it. (picture i added )
 I asked for a bucket of water to wash myself. And even that had a big tear in it. They changed the room. So i had to take my stuff to the other room. 30 minutes later they told me to go to yet another room again. I had to carry all my heavy luggage myself up the stairs. The only positive i can mention is that it is close to the beach. I will never go back to this resort.

Absolutely horrible

Service is absolutely terrible. No wifi. Cafe not open. Advertising is false. This is nit somewhere you want to be.

Iba is great. Trike travel us easy. The surroundings are ordinary. The front desk is seldom manned. There us no cooking or coffee in the rooms. No laundry facilities or room service. No pool either.
