Wish I had booked 4 nights in advance instead of 2, because when we didn’t want to leave it was allready booked :-(
Great and lovely service from Meds. 
Quite little spot in the hectic Philipines. 
Walking distance from the main street with enough shops and restaurants. Some with a awesome view!

Although at the time we got there, rooms were fully booked and we didn't stay there, Abraham helped us a lot with finding a place to stay.He recommended a great padi center for diving and many local eateries and affordable restaurants and other things to do. He and his wife are really friendly and helpful.

Most friendly and helpfull people!

Best place in Coron!

Chose to stay here whilst in Coron as it seemed cheap and not too far from the dock for getting to the dive boats in the morning. It also advertised itself as a divers hostel so I got the impression it might be set up to accommodate the early rising diver. Is this place suitable for divers? No, it is not. It is noisy - between the tricycle parking spot, the local dogs and karaoke bar, good luck sleeping if you're in the building near the road as it doesn't have glass in the windows. The room is hot even with the fan. Drinking water only appeared in the communal area halfway through my stay. Breakfast is served after you've already left for the dive boat and there are no real kitchen facilities or refrigeration so best to get up extra early and eat at the port. The tattered sarong covering one of the windows didn't look rustic, just shabby, especially when coupled with rubbish under the bunkbed from a previous occupant. Its also not in a particularly nice area of town to be wandering back to alone at night, especially not if you don't like the local dogs. Spend more and be comfortable.

Disappointing, uncomfortable stay...

Good -  Very cheap and budget friendly hostel . 
          -  Clean and nice interiors 
          -  Space to chill out outside the room 
           - Reading lights and small fan for each bed.  
          -  Friendly , kind and  courteous staff .
          - They make sure that he rooms are mopped so that it is clean 
Bad
          -It is impossible to sleep because it gets so hot , it is like a burner inside
         - I saw ants crawling on my bed and i freaked out ,Although there were no eatables around 
        - Fans speed is not enough to help you get a sound sleep. 
        - Location is in a very remote area , we got to walk for about 10 mins to actually get to the lively and main street street.  

I think this hostel is for people who do not mind not having a sound sleep and who are okay with the location and travelling with a tight budget.

I think if there was AC in this hostel, it would have helped a lot better .

The place is made from very thin wood and gives a "rustic" impression in the photographs i saw online  which i thought was  charming, but its actually a nightmare. It's hot, attracts insects  and worst of all you can hear EVERYTHING from the other rooms and from  outside. The hostel is located in a not very nice part of coron and the neighbours have many  roosters and dogs which make so much noise it's impossible to sleep even with earplugs. Was planning for a longer stay but after the second night i decided to get away from that place and find somewhere i could actually rest.

WARNING: STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE, ITS NOT SAFE/  AVISO: MANTENERSE ALEJADO DE ESTE LUGAR, NO ES SEGURO.

We came to this place with a reservation. I didnt like the room I was given and asked the owner if he could  change it. He was hostile from the start saying that we could leave if we didnt like it (the reservation couldnt be cancelled at that point). I asked for some time to discuss it with my friend. The owner came back shortly saying that we should leave "and were not allowed to be there". We replied he had no right to kick us out as we hadnt done anything wrong, he said he could do whatever he wanted as he was the owner, and then he  threatened to slap me, repeating it several times.

A man, much bigger than myself, threatening with physical violence two women travelling alone. I think this person has anger management issues and could easily get violent and hurt someone. 

We went out of there as quickly as possible, feeling very scared and vulnerable after they kicked us out and threatened us. Having walked a few minutes when the owner's wife came after us in a motorbike telling us we had to pay her the taxi fare (400 pesos, equivalent to 6 euro)  they had arranged to take us to the hostel from the airport that she would follow us if we didnt.  
I told her I had never been treated like this anywhere in the world, to what she replied if we wanted good treatment we should go somewhere expensive. 
We later found out that the taxi fare the hostel was charging is much more expensive than the usual fare other hotels change.  

So, they are not only hostile and violent but dishonest. The hostel is very basic and has "windows" with no glass or mosquito net, and very  poor security. The location is not good.  It might be cheap but believe me, Its not worth it and for a similar price you can get better an safe places in Coron. Also, we couldnt review the hostel through the platform we made a reservation (booking.com) as the owner lied and said we didn't show up... we informed the platform of the situation, but they didnt really care and didnt allow us to make a review... I hope people read this review here so they know what type of place this hostel really is.

UNSAFE - STAY AWAY. THE WORST EXPERIENCE IN MY LIFE

The location so and so. The facilities is ok in the common area. The rooms are crappy. Walls thin and if there would ever be a fire there (hopefully never) the place would be fired up in seconds! Owners extremely unfriendly and nonflexible. Bad vibes! Not recommended.
