D Alegre Traveller's Inn

We stayed earlier this month for 1 night as the location was great for our cannyoneering trip. The place is quiet and clean. Staff very nice. Alegria is a nice location and good choice if you want a break from touristy places.

1 night stay

We reserved thru our tour guide, an AC room good for 2 so it's should be P900.
The room is wide enough but it's just room, shared bath, the hot shower is not working, not that clean as were the only guest on the good for four but someone is using the bathroom without even flushing it.
Breakfast is typical: egg, hotdog etc..., much recommended to have breakfast outside as it's cheaper and have much choices and healthy too. 
Upon check-out, we paid our bill and the room cost 1200 per night. They didn't have the decency to tell us that the room we reserved was sold out as they say but it's not because I checked prior reserving and they have 3 available rooms. Beside the beach but it's not even good for swimming.

Not What We Expected

We paid 900php per night to stay on a AC room, the room was clean, but really simple.
The bathroom is the worst, the toilet doesn't have lid, only the ceramic, and there is no hot shower.
The beach I would say is useless, doesn't seem like a good place to swim.
Good thing that they have a fridge with beer, and you can use their freezer to get icy cold beer (something so hard to find in Philipphines).

Simple room, poor bathroom

I went here a day in preparation of my friend’s wedding the following day. I roam around the town, it’s nice, clean, and safe. Just don’t stay too late at night or else you’re in big trouble getting transpo back to the inn; the latest is 9pm. 

The place is so clean, you can even walk on barefoot. Somehow, the room is somehow less private because of the door’s distance to the floor. Even a cat can sneak inside as you can really see on the floor’s reflection if someone is outside (which they should fix). The shared bathroom is very clean. 

The back side shows an Instagramable, clean beach. Amd don’t miss the awesome, lovely sunset. It was a little bit cloudy that day so I missed it. 😭

Quiet, clean place

It's a nice enough place. No razzle-dazzle. Beautiful view of the sunset, which is a huge plus. 

The room was standard, had AC. Had a shared bathroom, but the hot water machines didn't work at all in the girls room and only sometimes in the boys room. They have WiFi, I think, but it didn't reach our room at all. 

The area doesn't have much going on, very limited food options that are a good walk away.
