Fantastic
130 reviewsMy husband and I have just spent 4 nights at Casitas at the end of March and we enjoyed every moment we lived there. We had our dinner upon arrival, served at the dining area and decorated with the lovely flowers picked in their garden. The food were fresh and delicious, which I had later known that were cooked by Pat herself. We start the first morning seeing the stunning view overlooking tens of kite surfers. Pat’s dog greeted us at the balcony and joined our breakfast, and we became friends very soon. He can adorably guide you to your room at the entrance once he knows you (the guard leads you with his torch, you will surely appreciate their guide in the night). The breakfast was mother-style cooked and tasted good, I personally loved her chicken ginger congee. Pat’s dog will accompany your breakfast, if he’s not on his patrol duty. The villa we stayed (the top one) was spacious and clean, which Pat and his husband had made their excellent decorative touches. I like each piece of wood furniture and ornaments in the villa, each area in the villa is stylish, comfortable and well-maintained. Patricia is a sweet and nice host who helped us many times, greeted us at every encounter and gave recommendations us where to visit. As I couldn’t contact my next hotel in Carabao Island for transfer, she helped me in different ways. She even sent me messages to ensure we were safely arrived. Besides, She recommended us some good restaurants. One of them is Spanish food which couldn’t be missed in Boracay. Upon leaving, Pat surprised us a marvellous bouquet with all her crew giving us the warmest farewell we’ve ever had. A good thousand thanks Pat and Julius!! Boracay still has clean and tiffany-coloured beaches even the Philippine government decided to close the island (not yet know the closing duration) for the construction of public drainage system.
