Yacuruna

We didn't plan in advance where to stay in Yurimaguas but we know that Winston was the greatest thing that has met us there. The hostel is just wow...with its amazing view on the river, with the wooden design, with the hamacas...you just don't want to leave this place. Just get comfortable in the hamaca and read, sometimes you can see the pink dolphins from the terasse. In the night you might here rats, but it just gives authenticity to the place....it's a jungle. The owners are very nice people always trying to help you in the best way, trying to find you cheapes ways to get to some places, I have to say that they were only a few people who didn't just want to use you and get money from you, and these guys belong to them. They are fair and they offer great tours. We went with them to Pacaya Samiria jungle tour from Lagunas. The organization was perfect, Winston helped us to buy the cheapest tickets to get to lagunas, he asked us what kind of food do we prefere to eat during this 5 days tours in the jungle, he borrowed us boots and hats :) well everything was organized in an "european" way :) The experience from this tour will stay in our memories for a lifetime. I could write here a lot more...but i will not, now it is upon you to live your experience. :) Good luck with travelling and if you stay at Alojamiento Yacuruna you know it is the best beginning of your trip. :) Zara and Marco
