We spent some days here and we enjoyed it. Everything was nice and clean, staff is really friendly. Good prices. Good location close to the stores. I really recommend this place. We will come back for sure. We had great memories.

Good environment

we have planned to stay in this hostel longer but in the first night, the reception girl ‘Valeria’ was talking in the phone very loud all night, 2 am in the night in our private room next to the entrance I woke up with very loud noises of her on the phone, went to her three times to ask her to be more silent but no use. I closed two doors told her again but she did not Care at all and kept talking very loud pretty much the entire night. When I told her in the morning 6:30 am she was incredibly rude, I mean really rude, not just impolite. Completely not okay, people come there to sleep and rest, overall the worst experience of hostels so far of our one month traveling in Peru.

This stay was a very bad experience. First I didn't get the room I booked, it was tiny. The bed base was missing slats so the mattress wasn't supported well at all. The shared bathroom was not cleaned regularly. The 'included breakfast' was a ham roll, if you don't eat ham you get a roll with jam. The coffee isn't even made fresh each morning, they heat up what's left from the day before. But the worst part is they overcharged my for my stay, they use an over-inflated exchange rate and I ended up paying much more than the expected cost. Don't give these greedy people your business!

Greedy owners!

At first we thought the hostel was fine. Sure the room was small and there was only a small room which made it damp but it was also not too expensive. However, upon check out they needed to check the room all of a sudden (never had that before in South America) and found two small stains on our towels. One stain would easily come off with cleaning, the other was black and not something we caused. Nevertheless, they made us pay for the two towels (24 soles in total, come on new towels would be even cheaper...). Anyway the girl was slow with returning the cash, we couldn’t open the door ourselves and our bus that was waiting outside left. In my opinion hostels just need to clean towels, you are not giving dirty towels to new people right? These small stains would have come of. If they pointed at their strict policy I would have checked the towels beforehand or used our own towels. All in all, I guess this is their way of making extra money and thank you for being so slow at giving us only coins back so we missed our pick up bus!

We made a reservation online and when we got there, they told us they had booked our room to someone else. Checked online in front of them, the room was still advertised as available... To appologize for their mistake, they offered a different room, 2km away and for double the price. We were very displeased.
