1140 reviewsMy trip to Peru started off with a couple hiccups, but my first stop in Iquitos with Maniti Expeditions turned it all around! I did the 2 day/1 night tour given I had minimal time with everything I wanted to fit into my trip. I feel like I did a week’s worth of stuff in that time! Went on a couple jungle hikes including one at night, visited a local tribe, got to hold a baby sloth, fed monkeys and an ant-eater, went piranha fishing, and on a canoe ride through all the little waterways around the camp. My tour guide was Edwin, he was amazing and extremely attentive (there was an older gentleman in my tour who needed a little extra assistance). You can tell he loves the Amazon and sharing his knowledge of it with people. Instead of a lot of tours that feel so scheduled and regimented, he molded the tour around what each person wanted to do. Definitely would recommend.
