The place is just beautiful. The staff is friendly, speaks English and welcoming. The Lodge's are nice, clean and a good size. Breakfast, lunch and dinner war excellent. Nothing better then freshly prepared food after a long walk in the jungle. Electricity is available from 6pm till 10pm so you have time to charge phone and cameras. Heads up there's no hot water at all. Just keep it in mind. There is a pool if that's something you are looking for in a jungle ;)


This is a really nice place, and very comfortable. I went for New Year's Eve and there was a cozy and small party, with the people staying and working there. Freddy was the best guide. I would want to emphasize that he was a really great guy who helped me find my phone, that fell from the canoae (he dived and managed to get it!!, and he did it selfessly :) he deserves a hundred points!!!

Avoid Cumaceba Curaka Inn,
i booked this via expedia to find a good hotel after a long but very nice trip to iquitos. People in Peru are very friedly and the country is amazing.
First we found the office but they did not found the reservation. After a long time of searching they found it. Now they said we have to make a tour and after that they bring us to the accomodation. We were tired and we just wanted to go to the accomodation, but that was impossible. So we decided together with the chief to cancel this accomodation.  
Now we are unable to get in touch with this company. 
I wrote emails and expedia tried to call them and wrote emails too. They dont react and we will wait for our refund. Never again.

Avoid this accomodation.

So booked a stay there and we canceled it, because we just needed a hotel and not a tour operator. The guy at the office in iquitios (he said he is the owner) confirmed it. But now they refuse to pay back the money. So attention real scammers!
