Madison Bed and Breakfast

We stayed at Madison for 5 nights. This is a great place to stay, the bed is very comfortable, rooms are clean, heater provided, there is a table in the foyer with free tea and breakfast every morning.  The hotel also has a tour service right next door, so it was very convenient arranging our trip to Machu Picchu and for our train ticket to Puno. The lady who works there was so helpful, she even walked us to the train station in the morning. I am pretty sure we would have gotten lost without her!
In our experiences travelling, customer service is everything, and Madison provide excellent service.

I needed two nights in Cusco on my way to Machu Picchu and a friend recommended this hotel. I was very happy I took that advise as I found it very clean, comfortable and the staff very friendly and helpful. Moreover, it was inexpensive and good value for money. The staff was very helpful in making my onward travel to and from Machu Picchu a memorable event with excellent guides. A walking distance from this hotel are some excellent restaurants with live music that I visited for dinner. All in all, a clean and comfortable to stay in.

During my recent trip to Peru and Brazil, and on my way to Machu Picchu, I stayed at Madison B&B and I was very happy with that decision! The place is very nicely decorated, in a nice and clean design with tiles and wood. It is a very clean family-owned B&B, kept in immaculate conditions. 

I much enjoyed staying at this place, feeling part of the family that owned and was running the place. It is located right off a central street, about 5-10 minutes walk from the center of Cusco.

It features a gated entry that makes it suitable for both traveling families as well as individual travelers. The amenities were all kept in great condition and a breakfast was served in the basement each morning. A computer with internet access is available in the lobby.

The owner and manager, Sandra, even helped me find some great restaurants, including to sample a very tasty local delicacy of guinea pig :]

I can HIGHLY recommend this Bed and Breakfast! The only reason it "only" gets a 4/5 on location is that it is not right on the central square - everything else was a clear 5/5! :)

I have had 2 trips to Cusco and I stayed at the Madison both times.  The Hostel is clean and the people are wonderful.  They will arrange all your travels and set you up with great guides.  It is just a couple blocks from the town square which is great at night.

We spent 4 nights in cuzco, we chose this hotel for its location and fair price, it has all the basic accommodations for a trip to cuzco/machu-picchu. A good hot breakfast was included in the price, (fruit juices, fresh bread and eggs too). The staff was friendly  and helpful , they have a travel agency in house there, very useful for reliable information on daily tours which will save you time and money for the different tours and entrance fees to historic sites)
Location is good very close to city historical attractions, easy access for cars and taxis, especially important in cuzco due to the altitude of the city, you don't want to walk or climb streets with your luggage to get to your hotel because some don't have good access for cars.
We are a family of four (two children), and here in the states you book a double bed hotel and four people are allow in the room , in cuzco most hotels allow only tree people in the room (one adult and two children) , forcing you to book another room; this is the norm even in the 5 stars hotels which are 5 times more expensive than Madisson. They took us all four in one room for the same price, we had to pay an extra breakfast, which was fair. 
It was a good experience, they treat us well and they were kind enough to allow us a late check out on our last day there, because my daughter got sick with something she ate, even they offer to bring a doctor but thanks God it wasn't necessary.
Think that in cuzco your hotel is to sleep over and nothing else, no matter how much you pay for the room or how fancy it is, cause all excursions are all day long and many outside the city.
