We stay here for  4 nights and it was just great!!! The location was excellent, just two blocks away from the center of Cusco and Plaza de Armas!!! The staff was very friendly!!!

Our room was clean and nice! :)

We really like this hotel the minute we walked in. It's in a very old building with wood floors, big rooms and a pretty little courtyard. The location is great. We had a room near the front of the hotel and were awakened a few times by the noise from a nightclub nearby. There are lots of restaurants, and businesses nearby including laundry service. Breakfast was OK, but far from great. A mild annoyance was we stayed here just before going to Machu Picchu and then again for a night aftwerward. We had no problem paying with a credit card the first time, but the desk staff the second time 'did not know how' to operate the credit card machine. We had enough cash on us to pay the bill, but ended up having to use an ATM to replace the cash we spent. The hotel was great about letting us store luggage for free while we went to Machu Picchu and were great about calling taxis for us to go to the bus and trains stations. We would stay here again.

Good location, nice hotel, friendly staff.

GREAT PLACE!!!

Quaint place, great location. Very close to the central square. If you are looking for a clean accommodation, this is fine, but pricey for what you get. B'fast is absolutely basic to say the least. If you are looking for an early morning start to MachuPichu, Avoid the rooms overlooking the street, you might not get a wink of sleep unless you plug your ears, the bars and discos in addition to the many that will spend the night under your window will ensure that. We had to check out by 10 a.m and returned after a city tour to catch our flight. There was no washroom to use / or allowed to as we had checked out!

High in altitude Low on value.

I was told the price for our rooms was X and when I went to clear the bill at the end of our stay, the price was Y. The woman working the desk called the manager after I complained and he said that it was due to our cancellation of a room. I have the emails to show I notified him 1 month before we got there and at no time did he say there would be a charge or that my Pre-paid bill would not be figured for the exact rooms we occupied and would not include the one I had cancelled. In all, it was $120 more than it should have been. The manager said he would be over to talk with me. I waited for an hour and he did not come. He then said for me to return that evening and he would meet with me. I returned and he did not show--again.
The double rooms are large but not the single ones. All rooms are noisy because they open to the courtyard and the noise bounces around. All this I could adjust to if I wanted. Earplugs are a good example of working in the limitations of the hotel.

I cannot and will not tolerate deceit. We were there with college students so the receipt and the exact number of rooms had to be accounted for when we returned to the U.S. It was not correct and the college personnel inquired. 

As another person wrote in a review, the amount they were told and the actual amount they paid were not the same.. You are stuck paying more. Do not stay here. There are other B&B's and they are honest.

I have gone to Cusco since the d 1980's and I have stayed in this B&B a few times but not under this manager. He is dishonest and he is too frightened to face a woman and explain.

Will tell all my students to avoid this B&B.

Deceit and fraud

Beds have suspicious stains, shower not clean, rooms are right next to reception with friends of staff right in front of the doors, toilet won't stop running and ragged greywashed smelly towels.
No soap, shampoo or tea/coffee/water service. The staff doesn't welcome you or speaks english.

I would definitly look for something else, no matter how cheap they offer the room.
