i was here for 9nights the bed was old but i had a great sleep. the water was hot during the day without asking, at night like 12midnight 1 am the water was cold but if i asked they would turn on the heater and the water was hot and the pressure was amazing. great staff. i left lots of expensive items out and nothing was stolen. great roof top hang out area they had wonderful jewish food for 25sole on friday or saturday i cant remember but it was great!!!!! they had a pool table it was fun. met some nice people there. the price for the room is great! they told me they are going to upgrade the bathrooms, i dont think they need to because the shower was hot and amazing pressure but some of the bathrooms didnt look great. but the toilet was in good location unlike other place is stayed and the water was hot, some of the staff spoke good english for peru unlike other places i stayed where i had to use a translator. honest. i over paid and caught the mess up on the last day and asked for the 20soles back for the extra night i paid for they gave it back no problems. the food was seriously the best jewish food i have ever paid for! i stayed on the 4th floor it is a hike to the top but worth it. great views and bathroom. complaints i wanted to buy more food but they only do the jewish food on friday night or saturday, it was so tasty. the beds were warm i was sweating on cold nights she made the beds so well, and they kept it pretty clean. the internet was good on the forth floor and when my device wouldnt connect i could easily reset the router and it worked again. the hot water lasted a while when i asked for it to be turned on. otherwise they are consciousness and use solar water heater. you can park a car or motor bike in a garage for 5sole a night they close the door at 10pm for the cars open at 6am. you can come back late to the hostel and ring the white door bell towards the top left door and they open fast. its close to san pedro mercado and orion super market. i advise you take a taxi to san pedro mercado then walk the rest of the way the taxi to the place sucks its long and the driver i had wouldnt go down the road even though the rest of the taxis were driving down it. its a short walk easy to find on ave baja. if i return to cusco im staying here again! its affordable and nothing got stolen and i had hot water when i asked. they were nice, the food great. bring a power strip for extra sockets i advise for any hostel. i stayed at 3 places in cusco. milhouse tayta wasi and here. here has the best price and shower when you ask for the hot water to be turned on. the beds looks like junkers but seriously i slept great and was warm. if you want breakfast and lunch go to san pedro mercado 2 blocks away get a huge plate for 13sole of steak or a menu which is like drink soup and main for about 5-8sole, and a combinado mixto juice for 3sole. great fruits and nuts gifts. all really close and the taxi is cheaper to san pedro then anywhere else. great flavors. they sell snacks at the hostel and water. it was 20sole for my single room i had to buy toilet paper and soap if i wanted it but it was a great deal. milhouse was 38sole for a 6bed dorm that stunk, the tayta wasi was 50sole for a single room but it was far from everything. both had decent showers but alegria was the best shower... if you ask them to turn the hot water on otherwise yes the solar shower isnt long lasting. just ask they will turn it on. 20sole pedir agua caliente ducha genial si lo pides. Buena comida judía el viernes o satruday para 25sole. Cerca de san pedro mercado desayuno barato allí. Cerca del supermercado orion. Algunos personal habla bien inglés, algunos hablan hebreo, y todos hablan español. Pedir agua caliente por la noche y por la mañana si quieres una ducha más larga porque utiliza calentador solar.
