I am a travelor, and being one who travels a lot. I enjoy confortable stays where i have easy access to tourist attractions, cafe's and eateries.
I like the hotellier to have knowledge on the area and someone who is fair to all the guests that are staying at a hostel.

I found all of these perks staying at Boomtique, cuzco.

Simple and easy stay.

BTW its a mesmorizing city.


Very comfortable place great beds great view and Super breakfast. I would highly recommend. She let me check in early and also helped me with some shopping. I stayed with her ³ times over my stay . it really was like staying with an old friend lots of greats chats Turing my stay.

Enjoyed my stay

What a nice place

I was so upset by my experience here that I joined TripAdvisor just to write this review, so that other people don't make the same mistake I did. I had bought a Groupon for 2 nights, and after having hiked around Machu Picchu and other ruins I was really looking forward to having 2 days in Cusco in a nice hotel to relax and rest. What a rude surprise when we got to the "hotel"! For starters, there was no sign or any indication from the street that this was anything other than a private residence. When we were brought up to our room, we saw three bunk beds arranged like a shared hostel room, and were told that our room with a double bed was in the next room. (We did not have to share with any guests, but the setup was very strange.) The bathroom was so small that you could barely sit on the toilet to use it, and the water was either scalding hot or freezing cold. There was no shampoo or soap provided, and there was no wi-fi in the room. There was also no curtain to block out the street lamp that was directly in front of the window.

However, the worst part was the bed. The mattress sagged almost to the floor, the pillows were flat as pancakes, and the sheets were threadbare. Finally, there was a BLOOD STAIN on the comforter! The owner of the hotel can afford a flat screen TV, original artwork, and expensive ceramics for the lobby, yet somehow can't invest in a decent mattress, comfortable pillows, and clean sheets. I've slept better in $10 hostels, and had better quality mattresses too. 

After one sleepless, freezing night, we decided that it was impossible to stay and booked at a different hotel. When we asked the owner for half our money back, she only gave us about one third back, saying that we had already gotten a discounted rate. She didn't seem to be overly concerned about our complaints either. In fact, she wasn't around during the night to ask for different pillows (she had gone to a party), and she wasn't around in the morning either (despite that fact that the Groupon included breakfast). We were only able to catch her after multiple tries. 

The level of service and the quality of the hotel is more in line with a bottom-rate budget hostel. The price of this place is absolutely ridiculous. If you stay in Cusco, I recommend staying anywhere else but here.
