Lunched here with friends. Excellent surubi and steak, good Argentinian wine. Efficient service. Didn’t stay in the hotel so can’t comment on that. If you want to head out of town go to El Roble which is a farm B&B with pool, small zoo and restaurant serving lunch and dinner. 

This hotel is definitely the best in Concepcion.  It is pricey for Paraguay and especially for the area but its new, air conditioned, good staff and a good restaurant.  Sadly we could not try the pool but it looked great.

That being said, while it looks nice its been cheaply constructed and so is showing wear and tear already. The restaurant serves good food but does not have everything it advertises on its menu. 

And still, this definitely the best you could get her.  By NA standards a solid 3* but for Paraguay and for Concepcion definitely a 5*.

The Concepción Palace Hotel for sure is not one of the cheapest hotels you can stay, but for the price given I think it offers quite a good service, the rooms and common rooms are very clean, with good wifi and with AC, it has a fantastic pool and a good restaurant attached. The location is perfect, the staff is very friendly.

We stayed for 3 nights in February 2014. From the moment we arrived we were made to feel welcome by everyone we dealt with. The quality of the hotel is superb. The restaurant food is excellent and has a very good menu, also a good choice of wines and beers. The garden area with trees and shrubs is very nice, with large areas of decking surrounding the pool. The pool is divided into 3 areas, 1 for proper swimming with a depth of 1.75 metres and to one side of the main pool are 2 further stepped areas, one you can stand up in, and another for small children to play in. All the staff were very friendly indeed, reception, restaurant and cleaners.
I would thoroughly recommend this hotel.

My husband and I stayed at the hotel for just one night but we were quite pleased with the facilities and the service.  We arrived without reservation, the person at the front desk was really nice and corteous.   The had dinner at the Restaurant, the food and the service were excellent.  Totally recommended.

I have stayed at this hotel a couple of times on business and I would recommend it if you are staying in Concepcion. The rooms were comfortable and clean and the staff friendly and helpful. All at a reasonable price for the quality of the hotel.
