There was a lack of communication between hotel and Expedia. I was informed that they did not receive the 50% deposit that was taken at booking on the Expedia website. The hotel also denied asking for the deposit from prospective clients.There was insufficient toiletries in the room. The room was extremely noisy making difficult to get a quiet downtime.

Very comfortable rooms.  Rooms have a/c and a ceiling fan, so you can choose preference.  The location is centrally located and walkable to everything.

Worst hotel ever, sheets very uncomfortable, mattress worst ever, the look of the place and cost are in line. This should. It be a 3 star hotel in your system

The hotel staff and management were very nice. The room was a good size, clean, with great air conditioning! The restaurant food for breakfast was a large portion and very good.

Las Tablas Getaway

This hotel primarily caters to Panamanian customers. North American travelers will find the lack of amenities disappointing. The staff is very accommodating and friendly. The rooms are very clean and the air conditioning is excellent but bad water pressure and the lack of hot water makes taking a shower quite an adventure. The hotel does have a pool and the location downtown gives easy access to what downtown has to offer.

Budget hotel downtown

Hotel Don Jesus is targeted at a Panamanian audience. The staff is very friendly and tries very hard to be helpful and the hotel is very clean. Having said that, the hotel lacks a few things North American travelers expect. No hot water and bad water pressure makes showers less than pleasant. This is a Spanish speaking country. I hope your Spanish is better than mine if you visit. We love Panama with all of it's foibles, but it's not for everyone.

Only for the Adventurous!

My partner & I stayed here in early March 2015 for 2 nights. We had an adequate room (AC, ovrhd fan, cable TV, free wifi) for $44/night double. The staff was very accommodating and always cheerful. The real bonuses with this hotel are: 1 - location - 2 blocks off the main street so quite quiet  2 - large common room with 2 computers, coffee machine, comfortable living room furniture, tables and chairs  3 - large outdoor veranda with tables and chairs overlooking the pool (which was not functioning during our visit) 4 - attached restaurant for breakfast and lunch. (good breakfast for <$5). Free secured parking on site. I recommend it for accommodation in Las Tablas

A Gem in Las Tablas

I stayed 2 nights, a very clean & comfortable hotel, an older place, well taken care !
Nice people, I only speak English, there English was virtually none, Yet they tried their best & we got by quite well !

Great Place

Stayed one night.. People were courteous and friendly although they did not speak much English. The room was clean and comfortable. Price was very reasonable. It was quiet and just a short walk from the bus station.
