First of all, I was on a budget and this was the second time that I visited David, Chiriqui. Hotel Madriid and staff was what I neded for my 2 day and 1 night stay. To all travelers keep an open mind and think positive, we all have different opinions about the quality and standards of living in a place that is not home. Be safe and continue to use what ever resource to educate and prepare yourself and others for your next destination.

We booked this hotel for its location to the bus station.    It is walkable (with a rucksack).    We were allowed to check in early our room was ready when we arrived.   WiFi was good, room was basic but clean and plenty of room.   There is a downstairs outside seating area to use.    There is a restaurant on site which sells coffee.

The staff was friendly and nice. The hotel has a restaurant on site which is a plus. I came in from Bocas del Toro and had to catch a flight next morning. It was perfect for the overnight stay I needed.

The hotel was close to the bus terminal, which is what I wanted. The only complaint I have is the restaurant hours. They open at 7am for breakfast. I went to the restaurant at 6:55 to find to personnel in the lobby. I asked about a coffee, but that wouldn’t be ready for 20 minutes. I learned that if you open at 7am, you’re prepared at 7am for service.

The room is very basic, but the bed was comfortable. The air conditioner worked well and was quiet, which is a plus. The staff were very friendly and accomodating.

I picked Hotel Madrid due to the proximity to the bus station. 
Check in was a breeze. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The room is very basic but the bed was comfortable. There was no fridge in the room, but there was a jug of ice water in the room. 
Having a restaurant next door is nice as well. I ordered dinner and had it in my room. 
This hotel served the purpose for what I needed.

We found this place by chance. It was across the street from the bus terminal and perfect if you have early bus in the morning. Late checkout at 2 p.m. Very nice front desk service. Clean rooms, secure free parking, restaurant&bar downstairs. A/C, tv, hot shower. Super down the street for supplies... Perfect place if you need to be near bus terminal. We had to return our rental car and the front desk person even suggested that they call the rental car company and ask to come pick up the car for us... They did and the car company came and picked it up. This was very nice of the front desk to arrange for us. A very helpful and friendly staff.

Air conditioning, hot showers.

Rooms are a bit small, but have cable television.  Cost only $38/night.

Hotel Madrid is also just two blocks from the bus station in David which makes it SUPER convenient.

Helpful staff, fast Internet.  We liked our stay here.

I was desperate and needed a place for two nights. Description did not match the accommodations

I was staying only one night, but it was pretty hot there in the room and grey interior, pretty depressing in rainy day, shower was pretty worn,actually every single furniture look pretty worn, at least it was cheap, if you are budget traveller
