Price point was great room has all basics, surrounding area sketchy but very central worked out for me this time around

I’ve had the pleasure of staying at Hotel Canova in Panama on multiple occasions, and each time, it truly feels like coming home. I can’t express enough how much I adore this hotel, and if I could, I would live here!The location of Canova is absolutely perfect. It is very close the breathtaking Cinta Costera, where I can go to exercise and take in the stunning views of the water.  Whether it’s watching the sunrise or taking a sunset walk, the views are simply magical.What sets Canova apart from other hotels, however, is the exceptional service and the personal touch from Emilio, the owner. Emilio's front desk team is very professional and they always provide the best service and exceed my expectations with the little things ....always remembering my name and preferences, my favorite rooms and other details that make my stay even more comfortable. I love the positive quotes displayed on the walls. They radiate positivity and mindfulness, perfectly complementing the beautiful plants.I love the walkability of the area and if you are looking to explore, Casco Viejo, it is just a few minutes away.Every time I visit, I feel so at ease, and I truly look forward to returning. Canova is more than just a hotel; it’s a haven, a place that feels like a true sanctuary. Great location near Albrook mall and airport. Great value for the price. And there is an elevator!

Nice, cheap hotel. Has everything one could ask for.

Good value hotel. A little dated but safe and quiet.

stylish and modern, cute rooms. A neighborhood poised for renovation.

Good and clean. Metro station and shops nearby. You can also walk to the old town if you want or take one metro stop. No breakfast or fridge in the room, but that wasnt an issue. Very good price to a clean hotel well located. We stayed total of 4 nights. Free street parking right in front of the hotel.

We chose this place for the amazing price and closeness to transit. It served us well as a home base during our travels. So well that we booked it twice. The check in and out times are a plus as well. Loved the concrete floors and simple decor of the rooms. The area isn’t the greatest but it didn’t stop us from exploring and waking around. Found great cheap eats nearby and laundry shops. Close to tourist attractions by a quick car ride or transit. Would recommend.

I was a bit scared about the parking on the street because I was having a rental car. However the guy from the front desk during Night Shift told me, it will not be a problem , we have cameras and I am here all night long. And it was. I left the car on the street 3 nights in a row without a single scratch on the car, plus you can easily go out from the hotel at any moment, well located, nice and clean rooms, affordable prices. I will definitely stay back there. Thank you guys. Excelente job done.

Basic hotel room which met our needs for somewhere clean and safe to sleep. Common areas are cute and clean. It is not in a high tourist area, but it is easy enough to walk/taxi/uber anywhere. Nice room for budget travel.

The light in the room too dim ,too yellow,  six bulbs but can't see things!!! I bought two brighter bulbs for the stay!!!!  At the reception they didn't help, sais only yellow available!!!

Good basic hotel. Clean and well maintained. close to waterfront to walk. Although I wish the hotel provided shampoo.
