I went to Muscat a few years ago for work. Great atmosphere (Italian) as well as Mediterranean breakfast. Large rooms. Quiet and convenient location to get to the center. Easy parking. Fair prices.

Italy to Muscat

It is very nice little villa located about 10 min from Muscat Airport in a quiet neighborhood.
The atmosphere here is quite cosy and the visitors have many opportunities to socialize, share experience, and get to know one another better.
The room was really spacious and well done. It had air-conditioning and nice, cosy furniture. Wifi in the whole area worked well. The beds were big and very comfortable. Breakfast was ok, not a huge selection, but you get your basics, coffee, juice, toast, pancakes etc. It was served in the communal dining room where you can chat to other guests. 
Villa is very close to the ocean and to the Grand Mosque.
The owner – Maura – is very kind and helpful person, and she can give you many suggestions on where to go and eat and what places to visit.
I highly recommend staying at the La Dolce Villa.

Lovely place

Very friendly welcome (the owner gave us a road map, where to rent a car and above all to buy a SIM card for our GPS (not available in car rental even if the site indicated it!) The rooms are spacious and clean in a large house with a terrace to have tea at sunset. located in a chic residential area, near the chedihotel to have a drink.

Two pleasant nights

The room is equipped with everything necessary (orange room) and was nicely decorated. We had our quiet in the night despite the simple door. But this should also be for the guests. Here you will not find parties. The breakfast is very rich. Through the shared breakfast at a table the guests also come together to talk. Very sympathetic... careful! Google shows a wrong address. Not at 1340th street in Villa 662. There we met other guests... take the coordinates of the hotel and enter this one. It is near Chedi.

The family

As someone who travels a lot once a few words to evaluate. Very good is often only the second choice, I can't understand. This small hotel is absolutely recommended. Large rooms, good expanded Italian breakfast, nice owner. A little further away, therefore, a car is not bad to find something difficult. near the Sultan Qabus Mosque.

A bit of Italy in Oman

After reading the enthusiastic reviews I expected a different treatment: the house is nice and certainly more cozy than a hotel. The price is congruent and the owner seems available. But we booked with Booking a double room with a double bed and we also called the owner months before arrival for confirmation, but once we arrived at the venue the room was next to the breakfast room (so we would wake up depending on the arrival of guests at breakfast) and especially with two separate beds. As soon as we noticed the thing, Maura (the owner) offered us a double room and the next one in the room previously assigned. Notwithstanding the discomfort we accepted, but unfortunately in the box after the trip we discovered that the next day the boat was in the hotel room and we would be called directly to the hotel, but we found a boat to help us to stay in front of the hotel.

Disappointment

Very nice house at 15 min from Muscat Airport. 
Wifi connection, large rooms and very lovely house keepers.
Special thanks for the italian breakfast, made with attention and quality ingredients. I largely recommand ! 

Charming little house 

The structure is housed in an elegant villa equipped with all the amenities and finishing. Very spacious rooms, carefully maintained to the smallest detail, large and functional also the bathroom. The darkening of the rooms should be improved because after dawn they are practically lit during the day. Great courtesy of the owner and service staff, abundant and good breakfast. Rather peripheral position that makes a private means of transportation necessary. Compared to what is reported by some precise booking sites that: the wi-fi works only in common areas, the parking is not private but along the road opposite the hotel.

Good accommodation

The house is very beautifully situated. A very good starting point for exploring the city. The hosts are friendly. The house is clean. There is support if you want to explore the city. All the sights are easily accessible.

Very friendly host

Everything was perfect - from the first step till saying goodbye.
The owner Maura gave us the feeling of home from the very beginning. The room was spacious and had nice and cosy furniture.
The beds were quite big and very comfortable. The breakfast was great. They have a little dining room with a big table - if you want, you can talk to other guests during the breakfast. The house was always very clean - thanks to Katharina for always being there, always making extra coffee for us. It was a pleasure meeting you Maura, Stephanie and Katharina - you made our week in Muscat perfect!!!
