116 reviewsOn a road trip from Muscat, we decided to sleep over Friday in Sohar, to spend the Saturday exploring. We visited various prospects, with my wife insisting every time to "see the room first". None within my budget got the nod of approval. I Googled. And found the Royal Garden Hotel offering a huge discount... Out of desperation I booked and paid online - UNSEEN!The hotel's streetfront is actually it's backside, worrying even me, and being verbalized from the passenger seat. Once we'd found the front entrance around the back, we realized that we had struck gold. Everything and more one would expect from a 4 star, for the price of 2 star accommodation! Friendly staff, beautiful room, fantastic price at 59% discount... I would, however be stingier with all those stars at full price. Not THAT perfect at OMR 50 per night I'm afraid
