Too bad it's not that cheap. 
The room was small but comfortable. The dinner was very good Chinese cuisine, but the breakfast was not so great. 
The staff was very nice, but most of them spoke very little English. The hotel is a bit run down, but warm and cosy. Most of the old building looks very nice, but could use some work.

We booked this hotel because of the location and were really disappointed.  Upon arrival we were asked which room we wanted (nice gesture but always worrying) and the choice we had wasn't too inspiring.  All the rooms were dated and just needed some TLC.  The room we ended up with had flys constantly buzzing around, a kettle that didn't have a cord long enough to reach the plug so we had to place it on the floor and a shower (which was very hot and lovely) but with nowhere to put soap etc.  It was just simple things that could have made the place so much better.
On the second day they didn't clean our room or replace towels and the heating in the building had been turned off (annoying when you want to dry out wet hiking clothes).
Breakfast ... I'm not sure what to say.  My partner ate nothing because the choice was so limited.  I don't know whether they had just given up because it was out of season?

On a positive note ... the bed was quite comfortable.

We came to Norway on a hiking holiday so we were happy with just having basics available but this hotel left us very disappointed (particularly when we got to our next hotel and compared the difference). 

Disappointing stay in a hotel that has potential ...

We were driving  past at the end of a long day of driving when we saw this hotel. It looked a bit run down but were tired and just wanted a room each and dinner. It was 1000kr. ( approx £90 ) for each room. the staff (or owners?) spoke very little Norwegian but could speak English. We had dinner which we chose from a menu consisting of about 11 Chinese dishes of which 2 were unavailable. The food tasted good and there was plenty of it. There were no starters or sweets. Tables were ready in the next room for a visit of an estimated 30 Chinese visitors. I went to my room which was on the ground floor of an adjoining building. To/from reception involved a 75 meter walk outside. The TV did not work, there was no telephone, I could not get the heater to work (and it was cold in the room) and i did not know of any WIFI being available. I talked to reception and listed the faults. I was told that WIFI functioned and someone came to the room, showed me how to connect to WIFI and got the heater working. I told them that 1,000 kroner was too expensive for what they offered and they gave me 300 kroner (£25 back).Breakfast the next morning was very average but OK. The dining room was a weird mix of old carved wood and plastic tablecloth/chair backs.
So, the rooms were very average in terms of amenities, the TV did not work, the staff spoke little/poor Norwegian, the food menu was very limited with no starters or sweets. A below average hotel should not charge such high prices and the amenities  not available (telephone, TV etc) should be advised at the time of booking in.

What Do I Say

Terrible! DO  NOT  STAY   HERE! Stinking, worn down, cold. This is not a hotel!  Website said that they would have a restaurant. There was no restaurant and no bresakfast. Big hole in the ceiling. Livingroom was not warmed up.

This comment is about the second building of hotel. 
The room on the first floor was wet. It was smelling really bad inside. Most of interior looked like from 80s.
Breakfast was simple, even poor. 
Everything that for the price of 3-4 star hotel.
