We stopped by late and Anette had left the keys for us. The camping has a stone beach, very clean. Great service and fantastic view. You can hear the road but that is tolerable. The toilets and showers are also clean.

Great location 

 After sleeping at 10 different camping sites around Norway, I can definitely say this was the best. The location was beautiful, the camping site was tidy and neat, the facilities were great with lovely playgrounds for the kids. You can tell that the manager and workers really care about the place and the guests. Also lots of hiking trails and activities offered here. Even if it’s off your route, you must stop by for at least one night. You won’t regret it!

One of the best campsites!

The camping is located beautifully. The view on the lake and mountains is beautiful. Facilities are modern and clean. Unfortunately, the possibilities for hiking and biking in the direct neighborhood are rather limited. Fishing is possible in the lake and the river next to the camping place, but conditions are not that easy. Fishing permit available at the reception. 

Beautiful camping but limited possibilities 

A perfect location, right on the shore of lake Tinnsjø. Good service, clean and pretty new shower and toilet facilities.

You can buy beer in the reception and drink it in the designated area outside, with great view of the lake Tinnsjø. Just remember that the reception closes at 23:00.

We rentet space for tent + car, and you can drive your car all the way in and park next to where you want to put up your tent.

30 minutes drive from Rjukan.

Beautiful location, good calm atmosphere, good facilities

Loved this campsite and its location at the heart of unspoilt Telemark.  We stayed in one of their basic but excellent log cabins but the camping facilities were shared and excellent for tents, motor homes or caravans.  Indoor cooking facilities, sauna, solarium etc all onsite and directs access to beach though water v cold when we visited!  Countryside around a dream - if you like life on the wild side you'll love it here.

Beautiful campsite on shore of  Tynn lake

This place is simply amazing for a relaxing weekend or a short vacation. The location is just fantastic and surrounded by fantastic nature in all sides.

The staff is very helpful and the service for the price is unparalleled.

Simply amazing

We stayed two nights with our Land Rover and roof tent at Sandviken Camping. We  met a very friendly staff and experienced perfect customer service. All facilities were nice and clean and the view of the Tinnsjø lake is fantastic.

Highly recommende for anyone who is looking for a high standard camping in beautiful surrondings.

We will vist Sandviken Camping again!
