When i ask them to step up the tempo in the extreme slow service, they start a stupid discussion instead of put some effort in their job. And then they give me warning about getting trowen out if i not stop complain about their service. Really dissappointing visit. 

Bar staff is really unproffesionale

We stayed for one night as we were passing through on our way north to the Helgeland coast. The room was nice and quite spacious. The hotel provided breakfast service and the buffet was OK; a limited but good selection of breakfast items. The hotel did not serve dinner. As the restaurant selection in Rørvik is rather limited, it would have been good to have dinner service at the hotel. We had dinner at Napoli Pizzeria a short walk down the street.

Nice hotel in Rørvik

Hotell in Rørvik with great location, great staff and nice room. I’ve stayed there several times because of my job, and everytime we experince the cosy feel this hotel offers. The breakfast is simple but includes what you need. New and fresh rooms, and public areas good enough. As it is in the middle of the city, you find two restaurant and one pub within walking distance. The area of Vikna and Nærøy in it selves, is one of the best scenic areas in Norway.

Nice and friendly

We spent one night at the Kysthotellet because we lost the Hurtigruten. Unfortunately the ship left Rorvik with our luggage and car in! We went to the hotel and the woman at the reception desk helped us book the flights for the next day to reach the ship in Bodo. She was so kind! Thanks for all the help! The next day we resumed the ship and everything went for the best. We will never forget that adventure.

the host saved us !

Was staying ther during the Rørvikdagan, which is a big happening and attracts a lot of people from the area. So the place was very busy during our stay. 
First of all: Staff is brilliant! They were very serviceminded, and when we asked for a late check-out, they arranged it promptely without extra charge.
The room was nice. We had a room in the new wing, but the rooms in the older part of the hotel looked nice as well.
Breakfast spread was OK, and they have a bar with in- and outside seating.
The cons here is the price. The room seemed a little overpriced for what you get, but what really put me off was the prices in the bar. 95 NOK for a can of beer, is ay too expencive even for Norway. If you are thirsty, go somewhere else.
