646 reviewsThis is one of our favorite places to go when we want to relax and have some quality-time as a family, and we go here a couple of times a year. Traveling with children, we especially love the pool area which as several pools indoor and outdoor, indoor and outdoor jacuzzis, saunas, water slide, a separate pool for small children, as well as a separate spa-area (which costs extra). The hotel is beautifully located right at the fjord, with mountains and peaks surrounding it on all sides. Breakfast and dinner is excellent, with a wide selection of hot and cold dishes, fruits, vegetables, fish, meat, as well as local specialities. A good tip is to try to avoid the peak-season (summer- and school holidays as well as the last month before Christmas). Although being a rather big hotel, it has managed to retain its charm and uniqueness as a family run business.
