We stayed here for four nights, in connection with a conference we were attending in the area. This is a lovely, modern and fresh hotel with great views from the front. Here are the main points. Location: Up a hill from the local village of Kvinesdal, on a main road which is not so busy. Plenty of free car parking and great views over the valley below. You would need a car to get to and from the village centre. Reception: Always friendly and helpful when approached, excellent service from a young lady who we discovered was from Scotland. Room: We had booked a superior room. This faced the front of the hotel but the expected view from our room was largely blocked by a house across the road, this was a disappointment as we were expecting a room with a view. The room was fine, the bed was very comfortable and had a nice shower room. Hanging space for clothes was minimal, it would have been nice to have a cupboard and some drawers, especially for a four night stay. Cheaper, economy rooms are also available at the back, overlooking the car park. Breakfast: Great selection, served downstairs in the reception area. Self service with plenty of choice. Conclusion: An excellent choice in the Kvinesdal area. Clean, modern and well run, friendly staff and a great breakfast. Highly recommended!
