Awesome stay at Lofoten Apartment (booked other AirBnB), nothing to say except a pleasant stay with kind people !
There’s everything to cook inside and a nice balcony but ask wisely for the best view on sea.

Awesome stay at Lofoten Apartment

We stayed in #25, a rorbu for 2 people. I would describe the experience as "quirky" and I don't think the accommodation would suit everyone. In particular the bedroom (2 single beds) was up a very steep ladder and in the eves so easy to bump your head! The shower room was a small wet room (not my preferred style) but overall the accommodation was clean and fine for us once we had got used to it. We didn't see much of the staff.

Great location and nice cabin. Very clean

Henningsvær is beautiful. Accommodation was a little disappointing. We thought we would be staying in a rorbu, as per the photos, but we were in a separate white building near the rorbu. It was ok, spacious and basic. Mould on the shower curtain. 15 minute walk from the centre and that was fine with us.

Easy self  checkin. We stayed in Rorbuer #5 with a beautiful water view. Cabin was clean, comfortable & warm.  Especially appreciated  the featherbeds, as it was chilly outside. Easy walk to restaurants, coffee houses, shopping, etc. Free parking

Incredible view, quaint neighborhood

Booked this rorbu last minute and so glad that we did. It is located at the tip and we had an awesome view. It was just cosy and cute and most importantly clean. The girls at the reception were so helpful and sweet. We definitely recommend staying here when in Henningsvær.

Last minute booking

Very simple and far from high standard in rooms and appartments. Narrow beds and simply no isolation between rooms makes it a challenge to stay several nights. Location could hardly be better. Ask for appartments facing the sea. Fishing is fantastic in rented boats. 

Expect dramatic scenery and wild naturei

I chose this Rorbuer because it's sort of midway in the Lofoten islands; since the roads are rather slow and long, it's better to stay in the "middle", so all islands are within easy and quick reach. But then I discovered it was also really lovely and with a stunning view on tiny isles. our cottage was all in the colour of blue and two of the four beds were on a small lovely open attic. only a pity they do not serve breakfast... Nonetheless there are very nice cafes in the village and also nice shops and a can't miss ceramic craft boutique

a lovely authentic Rorbuer

I wanted an authentic rorbuer vacation, and I got one!  We had a tiny red cottage and I loved it!  Little bedroom with a little bed that the husband and I shared.  I was against the wall in what the husband called "the nest", but I slept so well here!  Our living room/kitchen was adequate, and we had a nice shared deck that we enjoyed our cocktail hour on. The bathroom was tiny - the shower was sort of part of the whole room.  But it all worked!  On another note, I would say that the people running the place were less than helpful and not friendly.

Well, I Was Happy to be Here!!

This rorbu would deserve more stars if it wasn't so expensive. For the price of for example Grand Hotel Vesuvo in Naples ( Berlusconi's preferred accommodation when being there) including Grand breakfast, we got a standard "fishing cottage flat", not only without breakfast, but without anything, even bed sheets and towels had to be paid extra for. Well, I should not complain. It was all in the contract. I even got a mail the day before  with a warning that it would cost extra if they should make the bed ready by putting the bed sheets on - as an extra service...
The flat was ok, clean, fine view and so on. But not up to the price, sorry.
