Amazing view, fabulous location, well equipped cottage with lovely flowers on the roof. We spent wonderful time on the front porch, relaxing, talking, taking photos. Super friendly and welcoming stuff. The owners was helpful. I accidently dropped my glasses when hanging on the porch next to a cliff and had no clue how to get close. The lady at reception contacted the owner immediatly after checking the situation. We went to the town as planed and found the lost glasses lying on the table when we returned. Suprise! Alsoit's close to hiking start points. 

Awesome experience in a beautiful cottage. Just picture perfect. Had an awesome time. Need to pay extra for linen and towels, but jot a big deal. The views from the cottage are breathtaking. Free parking just outside your cottage and helpful staff.

Nice, rustic lodge with a great view down to Geiranger Fjord and the surrounding mountains. We had a typical Norwegian snack in the dining area of waffles, brown cheese, jams, coffee, tea and juice. Very quaint and nice. Arranged by Windstar Cruise ship as part of our e-bike excursion adventure.

My sister and I stayed in cabin #14, the cabin, the view and the host were all outstanding.   We had the most amazing time and wish we could have stayed longer!  The design of the cabin was perfect with the dark bedroom being tucked away in back.  It had a great efficient bathroom and the bright living room and kitchen that were wonderful.  The highlight for us was just sitting on the porch enjoying the view.  Book this cabin, you won’t regret it!

We had a nice view over Geiranger Fiord from our cabin and a covered balocny, which meant we could sit out even during the rain. There was also an open air deck with grill facility and a picnic table. The cabin kitchenette was sufficient for heat and eat meals. No microwave. Shower pressure was excellent.

Disliked · The cabin overlooked the road so there was the noise element. The linen had to be paid for seperately and was expensive. The access to the cabin we got, not for all, was by a steep incline, may be an issue for some. Wifi was very bad.

We got cabin nbr 14, and it was newly renovated with enough kitchen supply to make a small dinner. The two "adult" beds was a bit narrow, but the sofa bed was very big and comfortable for the kid. Good ikea table inside and also table and chairs outside.
Cleaning was not the best, so you can easily do it yourself before leaving, not worth to pay 300 for this 15-minute job.
Tip of the day is the local Geiranger beer, found in the supermarket (Joker) close to the water.

The room: Comfortable, big, good private shower & bathroom. The room we got (last minute reservation had bunk beds) so we took the mattresses to the floor (-: ... 
Kitchen: Fully equipped. 
Cleanliness: Excellent. You have to leave the place the way you got it else payment is required.
Comfort: Very.
Value for money:
Location: Nothing else but excellent. Very close to the Gairanger fjord (7 minutes drive) , walk distance from Flydalsjuvet viewpoint, amazing view from the terrace.
Stuff: Friendly.
Parking: Plenty and free.

The hytter has a top location! Close to Geiranger, close to nice walks, very quiet and great views over the Geiranger fjord. The landlords were very friendly and helpful. The only thing we can remark is that there was still some dust and hair on the floor when we arrived, but we took a brush and it was gone so no big deal. We would surely recommend this one!

We love our cabin #12 is directly facing the fjord, excellent view, quiet, quaint, clean and it has all the necessary: kitchenette, ensuite bathroom (although a bit dated), living & dining area, coffee maker, electronic kettle, decent free wifi connection, 3 heaters and good insulation to keep you warm. Dislike? 
1. Slippy and dated bathroom. 
2. Expensive rate (well, in all fairness, it is considered average compared to other Geiranger accommodations) 
3. Pay extra for linen and towels. 
4. Very narrow road and limited parking.

Stayed on 2 different days at cabins for 4 people with 2 bunk beds; cabin 5 and 8 

Pros:
-Easy drive to the port/supermarket/gas station, main tourist area down below to take the ferry from Geiranger to Hellesylt
-Meal preparations possible with kettle, coffee maker, hot plate, and small fridge also some plates, cups, utensils
-Young lady at the reception was very friendly.

Cons: 
-Extremely weak wifi in the cabins; had to stay at the reception to use it 👎
-no hooks to hang clothing 

Don't forget to clean the cabins before you leave or else you will get charged a cleaning fee.

We really enjoyed the nice surrounding and the incredible fjord views from the cabins.
