We have spent here 2 nights as a big group of friends. Location is perfect, close to everything. Actually even from airport you can get here by foot. It took as only about 30 minutes nice walk. Regarding cleanliness it was also OK. Quite big dining room. 

Central location 

Thought I was booking a motel, but it was the hostel, so a bit of a surprise and some disappointment to discover it was the hostel. That said it was adequate, 3 of us were only there  to watch Arsenal play the local team Glimt, so as long as we had a warm room, an en-suite shower & toilet we were fine.
We had a television, wi-fi, the shower worked well, 2 bunk beds & two singles, not overly comfortable but a decent duvet made it acceptable, did have to make our own beds though!! The room was warm at all times and location was good, but the train announcements started at 06.34 which could be heard in the room.

Advertised as Hostel & Motel

Two friends and I spent one night at the Bodø Hostel and were pleasantly surprised. The three of us shared a four-bed en suite room (economy). The bathroom was of good standard, with toilet, sink and shower (incl. shower gel and hand wash). The bed linen and towels were provided, although we had to make the beds ourselves. There was also a desk, chair and TV screen. Each bed was supplied with a double power outlet and a reading lamp. There was also a shared kitchen on third floor. 
  We checked in after the reception closed and so they emailed us instructions for how to get our room key. When we checked out the following morning, we stripped the beds and put the linen in a basket outside the room as instructed and went handed in the key.
  The hostel has a central location, with only a short walk to the railway station, ferry, city centre. The airport is only 10 minutes drive away. 
  Overall, very happy with our stay.

Staff were friendly and helpful.  Facilities were clean and comfortable.  Great location near the train station and the town centre.  Our window looked out over the water.  Guests were different age groups which was nice. We were able to store our luggage here when we didn't need it.

Friendly Hostel

Well situated right at the Train Station. Room was small but nice. We had a nice  vieuw on the train staion :-) you can see Ships arriving.
There is a well equiped Kitchen. Just perfect for us. Small Chinese supermarket not too far other super market. Only stayed for 3 nights. But a nice stop to discover the area

Couldn't get more conveniently located than above the train station! Discount on the buffet  breakfast served in the cafe below. Private rooms comfy and with fab power showers! Kitchen the best equipped I've seen to date and super clean. 

Great hostel

Our ferry was delayed and we missed our connecting train so we booked a room for the night.  It was a good choice as hostel was about 8 minutes walk from the ferry terminal.  Room was small but clean.  It has a common kitchen and offered free laundry and dryer.
The best part was the hostel was on the upper floor and you just need to take the lift down to the basement where the train station was.  Staff was friendly and helpful and they allow us to keep our room till 12 for the train ride.

Hostel connected to the Train Station

Got a twin bunk bed room with private bathroom, was actually surprised with how practical the room was. Offered a good nights sleep and a safe place to store luggage and use the bathroom. Great location right near the railway station.. a bit of a walk into town which was tough in winter on slippery roads but wasn't too bad. Room had a very nice view! And there is a communal kitchen and loungeroom which is very good and well set up. & Free washing (supply your own washing powder or buy it) and dryer.

Absolutely nothing wrong here!

I spent there just the night of my arrival with my group. The accomodation is ideal for backpackers and tourists travelling from place to place. It is basic (small rooms ensuite) but beds were comfortable and the location strategic. Breakfast is essential but there is also a common kitchen in case of need. The railway station is next to the hostel and ferries depart 5 minutes walk from there. I'd recommand for a short stay.

Basic but practical accomodation

If your going to Bodø, and just like to sleep on a clean, nice, and central, stay her. Its on the second floor at the train station. Quiet place. Breakfast is on the train cafe, its ok food. And just five minuts walk to the town center.
