I enjoyed my stay at this hotel. Good location central to Bergen, and for the price it was decent had everything I needed and despite the pub on the ground floor which was very noisy especially on Friday/Saturday night, where I was on the fourth floor I didn’t hear any noise it was quiet and peaceful. Staff were friendly and helpful, the only thing that was a pain was after midnight the front door locks so to get inside after that time you have to knock on the door and hope the staff hear you and let you in. Overall a good hotel though, I would stay here again.

Decent hotel for the price

Good, clean and cheap. A breakfast wait me and my friends front of the door every morning. We arrived Friday night but this horrible, under the hostel have a bar very noise and all hostel I feel in earthquake all night.

cheapest in Bergen and noisiest

The hotel is in a great location. Yes it is looking a little dated but our rooms were clean and more than adequate for the price we paid. If you want marble floors and room service then stop somewhere else! You can hear the din of the nightclub below and the noise of people enjoying the Bergen nightlife at the weekend but it's not too intrusive and noise is to be expected as you are stopping in the city centre. We checked in after hours (12.30am) and found the guy on reception very pleasant, welcoming and helpful. Yes your breakfast is hung on the room door every morning and I found it to be perfectly fine. Again if you want a breakfast buffet every morning then stop somewhere else!! 

We had a great time in Bergen and the hotel was fine for us. I personally feel the people that complain usually are the ones that expect 5 star quality for 2 star prices. Or they just dont do their homework first.

Good value for money, great location!

Choose this hotel to get cheap and central accommodation. Stay away if you need to have it quiet. In the basement there’s a disco and the reception is unbearable to stay in during opening hours. A few bars around the hotel also makes a lot of noise. 

Cheap, central and NOISY

I stayed at the P-Hotel Bergen last night and would highly recommend it. It's neither a hostel or a hotel really as there is no resteraunt. Breakfast comes in a plastic bag hanging on the door-handle and consists of a sandwich and orange juice. It is extremely clean and suitable for purpose and I will definitely use P Hotels in Norway again.

I guess you get what you pay for, spend a few 100kr extra and stay somewhere else.  I wish you could SMELL my pictures.  As soon as I stepped off of the elevator I was smacked in the face with the smell of dirty dog / diapers.   The carpet was filthy as were the walls.  You don’t dare touch anything here.  The sheets and towels are threadbare.. the pillows? Yuck.   Free breakfast?  They hang a bag on your door with some sugar drink and ham sandwiches.  Coffee? I went down to the desk and was informed that coffee is 20kr extra but they hadn’t made any yet.   Bathroom from the 70’s with non working hair dryer.  I assume they know that the hair dryers don’t work as they did run one up to me.    I checked out 2 hours earlier than I needed to, because I was so grossed out.  I’d rather sit at the airport.   This must be Norway’s equivalent of a “no tell motel)  YUCK!

Gross & Dirty

The corridors are dirty, and the carpet looks like it hasn't been cleaned in a year. The room lock security is basic, and if your phone is close to your door card. It's most likely to not work anymore. One of the rooms has a bathroom with the lock on the outside of the door. Another room with a shattered light switch. The breakfast is terrible - dry bread and watered out juice.
No refrigerator, no way to clean clothes, the rooms are supe basic. And not everything is clean.
Oh, and the noise! There's a nightclub right next to the hotel that will make sure to make you stay awake late at night.
This place is terrible! It's not even decent!

If you like sleeping in bars with screaming teenagers and loud booming music all night long then this place is for you! Even with ear plugs in I hear it all right in bed. Might as well put my mattress on the street and try to sleep. I regret not booking with Scandic.

The hotel is very well placed to get around Bergen. Within easy walking distance of all the attractions. Clean and comfortable beds. Breakfast consists of a sandwich and juice bottle delivered to your door, OK but seriously boring after a couple of days. The weather was v hot when we were there and there was no air con and not even a fan. The major issue is that you open the windows on to a very noisy street - cobble stones, night club, bar and late night shops. A pair of ear plugs kindly supplied by the reception!

Great location but....

You get value for the money. This hotel is situated in the center of Bergen, just a walk from all attractions. The rooms are spacious and clean. Some of the furniture can be a little bit old, but completely acceptable. The people at the reception are very friendly and helpful.
