Everything was excellent during  our stay at the Hotel Park, so conveniently located - the room, the breakfast and the staff.

Very clean and really friendly service.  Everything is crowned by the coffee and dessert offered by the hotel every day.  I really recommend it.

Three night visit in Bergen

What a lovely hotel. The staff were so friendly. The location was excellent. Breakfast was delicious anc the free tea/coffee and brownies throughout the stay was a lovely touch.

Lovely hotel for stay in Bergen

I sought this hotel due to it's high rating on Hotels.com, however I found it very disappointing for the following:I was not in the main hotel, but over the road which felt dated and the hallway was dingy and not pleasant at all.Breakfast was meagre, with limited choice and only Scrambled eggs being the only cooked option.Bed had no Bedhead, which I find annoying as the pillows fell down the back of the bed.Bedding was low quality and the bed sheet kept coming untooked.Towels were low quality, thin and small.I was on the Ground Floor and my room looked out on to the street at street level. 2 slats on my blinds were broken so there was a gap which would mean that in the evening if I had the lights on people could look into the room. I raised this with reception, but this was not addressed.For the price which is not cheap I would not recommend this hotel. Parking is a long way from the Hotel and they do not provide umbrellas.I stay for business in Norway and this is not the usual standard I get.

Not that good

Nice stay at the hotel, everything was fine.

Enjoyed staying in this pretty hotel, which also includes separate rooms in a building across the street. Staff was very friendly and the breakfast included a wonderful assortment of fresh locally-grown berries. It was fun to be in a residential neighborhood away from the tourist center, although this did mean a 10-15 minute walk to many of the attractions. The hotel is also located on a steep hill, which might be tricky for people with lots of luggage or with challenges walking. Light rail and/or the airport bus stops right down the street at the main bus station, and then there's a 6-minute walk up that hill. It was worth it, from my point of view. 

Friendly hotel in a pretty residential neighborhood

The hotel is special in the sense that it is kind of a big house with many floors. It is decorated beautifully and the rooms are also small, but nicely arranged.
Breakfast is good and a big bonus is the all-day free tea and biscuits.

Staff is very attentive and kind.

 On the low side is the lack of an elevator (you will have to climb many stairs) and the hotel is located on the top of a street hundreds of meters from the nearest  public transport station. 
And of course there is the expensive price tag.

Recommended if you take all these into account.

Nice, expensive and not for everyone

It's a prime location for views, up at the top of the very steep hill. The hotel itself is historic and so does feel a tiny bit dated. Still, the room was spacious with two comfy chairs for sitting and a desk and a comfortable bed. The bathroom shower was awful, as there was no rubber sweeper under the door and the water just poured out onto the floor. The staff person was so nice and gave us an excellent restaurant recommendation. The included breakfast was small, but nice, with the basics of fruit, yogurt, meats, cheese, and breads.
