Stayed in a single studio for 6 nights for a work visit. This studio has everything you need. The toilet is small and the bed is not the most comfortable. However, the location, the full kitchenette makes up for it. Do suggest that management includes a water boiler in the future. Hairdryer was a nice touch. 

Great studio in a good location

Foremost is the location as it's just back from the waterfront of Bryggen with cafesand restaurants nearby, a short distance to the funicular and easy walking to eveything else of interest in Bergen. The accommodation is self check-in so we had no interaction with the staff. The bed was comfortable and the place very clean and is equipped with a kichenette. It is very small though so storing luggage and clothes is problematic.
On the downside, the mobile 'wardrobe' in the bathroom is far from great. There was no way of switching lights off or on once in bed. No microwave which would be very useful and no cloths for wiping down benches after cooking. We were missing some cups and glasses but fiund them later in the dishwasher so obviously the cleaning staff had not checked things properly.
All in all, we liked staying in this location although the price was somewhat on the high side.

Great location, tight but reasonably comfortable.

The hotel is very conveniently located - right next to Bryggen (Bergen's famous old town), 2 minutes to Floyen funicular station and Hanseatic museum and 4 minutes to Fish Market. The room was spacious with all the necessary kitchenettes. There's no manned reception, but staff were one phone call's away, and all went very smoothly. Highly recommended!

Excellent Stay

This hotel has decided not to hire any staff at all - no one was on the premises. But they don't pass on the savings to the customers. For the high price I paid, I was expecting great service. Instead I got - no employees at all.

The elevator was not working when I checked out. I had to walk down five flights of stairs with luggage. At the bottom I discovered that the elevator door had been left open, which prevents it from working. If they had someone working there, they would have closed the door and there would have been no problem.

With no staff, what do you do if someone vomits in the hallway? What do you do if you lose your key? What do you do if something is broken in your room? 

Finally, my bed was in a closet. Seriously. Walls against every side of the bed except the bottom. I had to crawl in.

Broken elevator and NO staff at all

I stayed here for 2 nights and received all the information I needed to check in via email, and had no problems with the check in procedure. I purposely reserved a room with catering facilities as I like to prepare my own breakfast and hot drinks. There was a dishwasher which I thought was a waste of space since the room only accommodates one person and the space would better have been filled by perhaps a microwave or more space with a kettle (I used a saucepan to boil my water for drinks). It was sufficient though.

The bed was a pull out sofa bed and was fairly comfortable but I had a very average sleep as the room temperature was difficult to control since I could not figure out how to use the fan system, even with instructions it didn't seem to perform as it should. 

The positives for me were the cleanliness, location and the use of a kitchenette. I would stay here again but would probably reserve a larger room as it did feel a little claustrophobic.
